My wife and I called in a cougar last year cow calling with Phelps reeds it was pretty intense for a few seconds. Can't wait for season to open. Keep up the good work and videos love watching.

Hey just want to say I am from Yazoo City, Mississippi and went to Colorado Elk hunting for the first time in 2019. I am sixty years old now and going to go back there this year again. My cousin got me to go last year and needless to say I knew nothing about Elk hunting. I am a bow hunter and have been shooting a bow all my life. Thanks to y'all I know what to do now. I have been watching your videos every day since I found them on RU-vid.Good luck this year and I hope to see you there. Trent love you man but don't turn down anymore 4 or 5 leaf clovers.

For my very narrow palate a call made for youth or ladies fits best and when I first used one I found that hey, I CAN bugle. There are a couple of companies that make these.

Going on my first archery elk hunt this year! It is in NM, public land, I was super excited when I got my draw results.

It took me about 2 years to get comfortable, and about $70 in diaphragms to find what worked for me. I still try to improve all the time. It's an ongoing process, as I'm sure it is for everyone. I don't want to be Douglas Flutious Bugleous III.

Do you all try to sound like the meanest biggest baddest bull on the mountain or do you sometimes try to sound like a younger bull? Hunted a lot of years out west (lived there) and I used a younger bull sound so I didn't scare every bull, except big daddy, off the mountain. Called in a lot of 4X4's and 5X5's and my share of 6X6's. Good lessons here, wish I had these lessons 35 years ago would have made hunting and life funner. .
