2023 Elk hunt over 5 days (Oct 1-5) at the Pitchfork near Meteetsee, WY. The video doesn't due justice to the beauty of the scenery, the steepness and difficulty of the terrain, and the physical and mental challenges of the week, but at least gives a glimpse into what it was like.
Thanks to Danny and Kirsten for flying me out there and hosting me, Kevin for the camper use and hunting experience, and Joel for pulling security while I cut up the carcass and helping to pack it out.
It was an incredible week and a great hunt!
