These videos are mostly about hunting for the horns. I believe in the saying, "don't pass on an animal the first day you would take on the last day". A little spoilage makes the meat more tinder, I guess.

“I joined 4 1/2 years ago” for a tag that takes residents at least 21 preference points to get… REAL long wait, must have been agonizing.

@@robwardlaw7503that wait had to be his wait in line to get his number called from the outfitter's allotted tags. There's absolutely no way he drew that tag in 4-5yrs through the the regular draw. No. Way. In. Hell. I just drew a resident Muzzle Loader tag there, and it took me 17pts.

A nonresident will apply for over 20 years to draw that tag (gun hunt in 61 ) hoping to shoot a 340 to 360 class bull. I’m very disappointed in the quality of bulls in unit 61. I wouldn’t waste that many years applying. Congratulations Sir on your bull and legal bull in Co in a great bull.

Problem with long distance shots, he felt it was a good shot but was not even sure he hit it. And if they didn't return...but fortunately they came back and found it.

Qualität des Jagdfilmes ist nicht gut bezüglich Ton und Filmqualität. Auch die musikalische Umrandung und die lauten Nebengeräusche verhindern ein entspanntes Zuschauen.

I have hunted elk all my life and I question the ethics of hunting for horns. When hunting for meat I won't pass on a big bull but I don't go looking for antlers. There are many that do it though.

In AK, most areas require a 50 in spread or at least 4 brow times, I hate hunting those areas , it has ruined moose hunting for the average person , CO. also requires you to trophy hunt elk

@@robertboyd3863 Colorado requires the bull elk to have at least 4 points on one side before it's a legal bull. Not quite trophy size. It's supposed to allow young elk to have a chance to grow older.

They don't talk about how much it cost+ if you're just there to fill your freezer then a cow tag will do. Just no ethics in hunting anymore. Controlling the heads is the main thing.

The hunter has to be covered in blaze orange the guides just wear camo LOL makes sense NO , but great hunt and fine bull

For me, taking shots that long isn't something to be proud of, even if you have the skills to pull it off. Glad he got his bull but this is not Eastman's finest moment.
