I'm officially, an old lady. But, I still prefer young actors in gay roles. I also ask myself. People still call me miss. Should I starting to dressing like an older person? I think, that's part of the confusion. I don't know. 😊
@@FuHackers-wx9lq Hi I read your message. there is nothing wrong seeing young actors. No there’s nothing wrong with that. If you still feel young that’s who you are no matter how you feeling and is how you accept yourself please remember this is how you feel inside is the person who you are you could dress younger or old please take care of yourself I am not offending you 🙂
@@linasalazar7496 darling... It takes a lot to offend me. These are opinions. We're all entitled to them. I'm entirely referring to films. I LOVE... Seeing real couples in love. I actually enjoy watching elderly couples, that have been together a lifetime. It's beautiful! Again, it's only on the big screen. I escape in movies. It's not real life. Have a great day! ✌️
I love this series, have watched it several times. In Germany, the actress that plays "Ella" (Annette Frier) is actually a very well known comedian. In this series she plays a woman who has the asperger syndrome. And "Julia Richter" is also a well known actress here in Germany. 💛
Nice.. Love it... I have been married to a woman since 2015 as soon as the marriage between 2 women/men was legalized in Florida, USA. but we've been together since 1984.. She is now 82 and I am 69... She has 4 children now married and she has grandkids and great grandkids and i consider myself very lucky because they all love me and i love them back..."And We Never Had A Fight" Lol but is the truth... Miami, Florida here....Oct. 2, 2024....
I found this video a couple days ago by chance... and I got curious, and I watched the whole show for them and well, I am a bit dissapointed, but at the same time I am not, because they treated their possible romantic relationship in a very healthy way, and the show was never homophobic, and they are quite open, as well, as they have a beautiful family right now, besides if they are ot not together as a couple.... their conexion is even bigger I will say... so this was a positive surprise, I enjoyed quite a lot the show and their chemistry and relationship.... I am not sure if they will make more episodes, I hope so.. and I would love them to explore this side, I think they could have feelings, but well, I also understand that it would be a change that in the future if it does wrong it would ruin their family... and Ella hates changes, and she is so smart to anticipate this possible resolution BUT Christine.... she is pure in love, in the last episode....... well, it is true she is very dependent on others, so she is the kind of person that if you give her affection she would say yes, but their kiss was too REAL!!!!! and I don't but the story of them sleeping naked after swimming in the beach, they had sex, period. Brilliant edit, so sweet, so pure, you kind of "cheated me" because I thought they really had something else... and yes, as you mentioned, the slow burning is the best. And again I will say that I adore them
this is honestly one of the best and most thoughtful comments I've ever gotten for my edits 🥹 first of all thank you so much for the effort and the kind words!! 🥰 I will include spoilers in the next comment so beware (!) : And I agree with everything you said about them and their relationship as well. I had the same experience. Their connection is so deep and meaningful and the potential this ship holds is insane😩 I was 100% sure they'd get together because you could already feel their chemistry in the first episode. It was built up over years and they did it so well omg! After I finished watchig I wanted to know everything so I first tried to analyse the whole show and then tried to find things the actors/producers etc had said to explain this. Apparently it was very clearly written in the scrip and all the summarys for this episode that Christina IS in love with Ella. And that Ella is very confused and not sure about what she feels. There's also an amazing interview with Julia Richter (Christina) where she talks about this episode and playing a queer woman. In this interview she talks as if they are very much canon and queer and in love. Both of them. And it kinda makes sense. The only thing that doesn't make sense is everything that happened after their second kiss😭😭 One of the most interesting scenes was when Nils said he always knew there was something between them. He kinda spoke for what everyone watching she show is thinking.
Hey, do you know „Kommt Mausi raus?!“ a coming out movie from the 90s? It‘s also with Julia Richter, very young, but in this movie she plays a real lesbian! Greetings from Germany😃
@@kat-ko I do. Ofc I immediately watched it haha She also plays another lesbian or bi queer woman in the movie "Lieb mich" where she falls in love with her son's female teacher. There's an interview with Julia where she says that Christina is queer too tho and she was sure about that right from the start☺️
@@rainbowlife111 I agree with everything. I read that interview as well like is pretty obvious that Christine has feelings.. And well her character looks so querer, so great the actress confirms it. Nils was right, Ella sabotaged their relationship because she was jealous!!! Hahaha and well for me they are canon, they've been a family since beginning. The kids love Ella so much, they are co-parenting and some day they will realize that the romantic feelings are there as well beyond their friendship which is amazing.
The show is also very badly received by autistic people for its portrayal of autism. So I'm not surprised. I'm German and Autistic so when it was first announced that there was gonna be a big TV production about an autistic woman I was pretty excited. Until I watched it (well, part of it, wouldn't finish it). So I'm not surprised at all that they tried something like this and failed again. It's sadly really common currently in German media.
@@ferdinand3und4zig I have to say that the show is mostly very good tho. Yes I'm sad they kind of had to waste the potential of their relationship because the actress of Ella had to leave the show quite spontaneously due to other projects so they rushed the end.. but the other episodes, the tension and connection between ella and christina, the oberall vibe and the slow burn was absolutely amazing. Oh and because of the autism part... I understand you but I also think everyone who's watching the series should keep in mind that every person with autism is different and just because Ella is portrait in that way doesn't mean that every autistic person is like that. BUT some are. My mom is autistic and she's 100% the same as Ella. In everything. But obviously not every autistic person is like that. But because of the fact that every autistic person is so different the way it's portrait in the show doesn't and simply can't fit every autistic person, you know? Overall I think the show is definitely worth watching. One of the best shows I've seen in the past years.
