I think they want someone like megan fox, she was given sexualized role a sitcom and even ask to perform stripper role at 16 or 17, avoid3d just because legal issue.
You realize that all casting agents cast based on what they perceive to be attractive and photogenic. You should be against all child actors this is happening to every one of them.
Those are the people who make the movies you love and watch…. ball’s in your court to either continue to whine, or stop watching Hollywood movies. Time to put up, or stfu…
Lol the people calling her ugly are the people who have pick of the litter when i comes to diddling these kids. It will be 20 years and we will have stories from the fanning sisters being touched sexually as kids. I promise you.
It's complicated. She is in no way ugly of course, but it is highly likely that her visuals didn't suit whatever the directors had in mind to create which is why she was rejected. Saying and actor or actress is too ugly is an oversimplification directors use to just get people to stop asking too many questions. Kat Dennings was told she was ugly for roles too and look at her. It is just more accurate to say that their visuals are "unsuitable" for whatever they wish to create. On the other side of the spectrum, you get those who are called "too attractive" to play a role in which the character is supposed to be average looking or something. I think Scarlett Johansson was told this.
@@riccee5242 based on this post, it simply just supply and demand. The demand is some young fuckable looking actress which probably will make 20+ yo actress with young attractive face will be the best fit rather than a literal teenager actress. If she doesn't fit then she can take a break or something since she was still a minor/child actress right. Its not like she have to get athat specific roles in order to survive. but the real shitshow is probably in the sexual harassment and abuse that actor & actress experience in hollywood since there's probably alot of people who act like Epstein.
I could never understand why any parent would let their child anywhere near that place. It's odd how child labor laws don't apply to the entertainment industry.
A producer describing a LITERAL CHILD as "unf*ckable" is SO GROSS. The only thing grosser would be if he had described her as "f*ckable". God I hate Hollywood.
These people in Hollywood are such perverts. What would possess them to think that they should be "appealing" to eyes of MEN. I am so sorry to Scarlett Johannsen, Natalie Portman, Britney Spears, the Fanning Sisters and many more of these young actresss that has to go through these sick, demented people in Hollywood.
It happens to the young male actors as well. That they need to look attractive in the eyes of women and young girls. Most of the adult men have to juice to get or keep roles. The entire industry is fucked.
Elle and Dakota are both stunning girls. They just look NORMAL. They got bullied for simply not looking like a males fantasy, they looks like real beautiful human women. Jfc.
@@ryanmck06 no need to add sorry! Your opinion is entirely valid too. There is no accounting for taste. As long as it's done respectfully... express your opinion shamelessly 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Two of the most naturally beautiful and talented actresses in Hollywood. I still remember EF in a role of a child dealing with severe OCD. She was all of six and she was absolutely perfect. I don’t remember the name of the movie and I have only seen it once, but I’ve never forgotten it. I will always be a fan of hers.
People think she’s ugly? Are those people blind? She’s beautiful. Either I need to get my eyes checked or those people need to get theirs? I feel so sad for her. 😭😭😭
well, on the movie "the neon demon" she plays the role of the most beautiful girl. so definitely people think shes beautiful ❤️ i think her beauty is unique, she is not the boring hollywood pattern of beauty. Shes definitely a crush.
She wouldn't of been casted as Aurora for no reason if she wasn't truly a stunning woman! Inside and out♡ Elle and Lily James are some of my favorite female actors who have that classical/fairy tale beauty and aura about them♡ Hollywood can stuff it
I don't agree that she was "groomed by the system" I think it was quite the opposite as she and her sister resisted the pressure to get surgery and look the way the system wanted them to look. I'm glad they resisted and kept aging the way they did, naturally and in their own way. I think they're both quite beautiful and talented young ladies.
@@courtneymeyers82 “when someone builds a relationship, trust and emotional connection with a child or young person so they can manipulate, exploit and abuse them” Definition of grooming.
And yet she still maintained her natural beauty and down-to-earth personality. Unlike a lot of other young celebrities, who were pressured to alter their looks to appear “older”
You can call her many things but ugly is not one of them.I have been watching ”the great” on hulu.Every episode there has a new set piece for her to wear. Her own capacity for wearing the dresses to the new hairstyles through each episode with her own splendid said acting skills always being on display.I mean seriously she couldn’t be more worthy of her own title. She was born to be an actor
She is the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. There's literally nothing ugly about her physically. Anyone who calls her ugly probably has some type of hate they harbor against her.
These sisters are sooo beautiful, the fact that they fit all of the westernized beauty standards (blonde, blue eyes, white, thin) they still considered “ugly” ?! Women can never win I swear, gosh I hate the entertainment industry🙄
She isn't ugly and Hollywood knows that too. It is just an oversimplified way of saying she isn't suitable for their vision whatever that vision may be. There are also actors who get told they are too pretty for a role. It is more complicated than it seems.
This is insane! Elle is one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen. I follow her on instagram and sometimes I just can't even with how breathtaking she is. Those people who called her ugly need to get their eyes checked.
Frances McDormand has had a forty year career in the film industry and has multiple awards for her work. She’s incredibly talented, but not what people would consider to be attractive or beautiful. This girl is young and beautiful. The industry standards are fucked up.
Apparently the most depressing and self-hating people would say stuff like that. How desperate do you have to be to tell a young beautiful girl that she is unattractive. These people wish they were half as attractive and are clearly insecure.
As someone in the same age range of the Fanning sisters I grew up with a huge crush on them in movies. Definitely not ugly, they just weren’t groomed into being supermodels.
GUYS Elle Fanning is 25 years old, 9 years ago she was 16, taking into consideration movies takes atleast a year to make, it would’ve been a comedy movie about a road trip that came out in 2013… it’s We’re The Miller’s !!!!! WTF FIND THE MF WHO SAID THIS DISGUSTING BS
This is exactly why people should only start working professionally when they are 18. If you are cast for a series and they like you how you are you can grow up with it, aka GoT, but don't let kids stumble into the world of agents, businesspeople and producers.
Elle is so beautiful, and so is Dakota. They are both beautiful, talented young women who need to stop being compared to each other because one of the worst things you could do in Gods eye is turn Sister against Sister.
I think she is remarkably beautiful. She has an elfish kind of other worldly look. People are obsessed with wanting you to be who they want you to be. Just don't. Be who you want to be. You can't lose.
I gotta admit that I did not find her pretty as Aurora in Magnificent , but I watched a series called The Great that she stars in and oh my god, she’s magnificent, I’m in love with her now 💕
bro what?? i watched the great with my girl and we both agreed fanning is absolutely stunning. i guarantee whoever made the decision to reject her for the role was a solid 3/10. unbelievable.
