As always, she looks raw and real. I like her singing just as she is rather than wearing a heavy makeup and bobby doll dresses for tv. It feels like she is telling me that I don't need to be looking pretty, I just need to be me. I went through something unspeakably horrible and this song will always hit that raw nerve of getting it for me. 3 years ago I was ghosted by the love of my life, when I was in labor with our child. When I heard Ellie King,I fell in love. She's so raw and real,she's strong and afraid to sing about real issues and you can hear in her voice...She could sing the telephone book and sound amazing. She evokes emotion,and I can identify with the sings,"The Let Go" and "Another You". I get emotional and shed tears when I hear them.
