She’s a strong woman amen. I’m crying just remembering his songs and how him and my brother would work together. We actually knew them, she’s not one to be in the spotlight because she supported him fully, she was really his help mate. This is the most I’ve heard her say, and omg I can’t wait to hear more from her. She loved that man and she’s telling no lie. My brother was very close with Mr Rance, and he would come to Shreveport La very often to visit my bother or to do a show. He was humble, you didn’t have to pay him to be friendly either, he just was friendly yet serious about God’s work. He will be missed because it’s not too often you come across humble people like he and his wife. They are some good people.

My king has been gone from the earth for 17 yrs on December 9,2003 he treated me so well I have not wanted another husband because God have me one that love his mother and love me. I as Mother Allen fix his plate on a tray plate a glass silverware a napkin and a tooth pick it he needed I brought it and sat it before many times he did not wish to eat at the table only on holidays with family and quest. This makes me proud to hear this! My husband has been working 6dys a week 12hr shifts. He's been TIRED! I told him last week baby take a shower and ill bring your food to the bed. I came back after i thought he was finished to find him asleep holding his fork. I just kissed him on the fore head. He opened his eyes gave me a kiss and said thank you baby it was good. I cut the lamp off and just looked at him thanking God for a good man! 25yrs and I still love this man like the day i said I do! He looks at me the same way. Nobody but God comes before him! I was very sick a couple of months ago. He took off 1wk to help out. He homeschooled, did monthly grocery pickup, cooked, cleaned, washed clothes, waited on me, and changed a tire on the highway lol! He had a flat on the way to Sam's with our daughter in the back seat worried lol! I said Lord heal me so I can get back to my duties LOL! My poor husband said i dont know HOW you do all this LOL! I stopped working when quarintine started and we decided to homeschool permanently. I just want my baby to be happy and not be worried about her at school. Plus I want to instill self love and to learn about things WE have done to make this world a better place. They don't teach that in school. I love my husband for having faith in me because I was scared to teach LOL! I gave up my dream for now to become a nurse like my mom! Ill try again in a couple of years. This thread has really inspired me to go for it again! I'm a great CNA so I know ill make a great nurse someday! My husband once told me something so uplifting its still in me today! After crying for days from being hurt by my mother he said "You giving the devil WAY to much time! It's time to give God his time to heal your heart. Get yourself together tomorrow I want to see the woman I married! I KNOW WHO YOU ARE, YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE, AND OUR BABY KNOW YOU! Don't let no one dictate how you see yourself!," I got up a new woman no more tears. When my mom finally apologized months later i accepted it but i didn't cry or disrespect her. Our bond may never be the same but i love her. Your husband should be your back bone, encourage you, shoulder to cry on, and most of all love God!

There is no law written saying that you must treat your man a certain way. It's nothing wrong with serving your husband but not all men are worthy. Most of these men aren't even married to their girlfriend of 10 or 15 years. My kids were served their food first!
