This one's for you! The picture quality isn't at best because jhirzel88 used an old tape to record this. This parrot does a great job doing the Clementine song.
Nicole Capellan that's the problem! Law suits. Who will steal the bird back? Just saying. I been through hell after owning a 50lb dog my first for 12 years. Stolen by creep family member who is friends with psycho original owner. Plus the next person who ditched her!! By my house. Yes she's been living to 23. Bad situation. By so many abusers. Tampa Florida. Along with Crooked authority persons. Hopeless! Get them microchipped!! Or court ! If stolen/lost.
Great! Yakkee is very talented for music! That sweet parrot sings better than the human moderator. 😄😄😄 Yakkee looks so sweet when she sings the song Clementine with passion. I was really surprised! Be blessed, Yakkee and Ellen! 🦜💖💖💖
Yes, He created an animal that can talk and fly, sometimes both at the same time! Those are two abilities that our Lord wanted them to have to live in our world, usually as pets.
I used to sing Oh my darling Clementine all the time as a kid. NO IDEA why, I just did. Maybe I saw the movie or whatever, but I know my mother only had to listen to know where I was.
That was awesome I love how Ellen's always ready to help her guests look their best and I also like how they had the palm trees in the back I think that would help the bird feel more comfortable too:-)
Amazon parrots live about 25 or 30 years on average. Sometimes 40 or 50 years is reached, but the chances of one living to 100 is basically zero. Pure myth.
They've only widely been fed proper diets and given enough exercise the last ten years so who knows how long the ones hatching today in captivity will live
compulsiverambler-- I don't know where you get the idea Amazon parrots have only been getting proper diets and exercise for the last ten years. My parents and many other people I've met over the years raised them in the 70s, 80s and 90s in large aviaries with extremely healthful diets and plenty of flying room for exercise. Even then they lived about what I said they did. 40 or 50 years. Sometimes more, but often even less. Zoos have been keeping them on scientifically designed diets for decades in large aviaries also. I'm an ornithologist and have studied them extensively. The ones hatching in captivity today will live around the same amount of time.
That's pretty cool!! I didn't think cats could be trained to talk! My cat doesn't say any words but I clicker trained her and we do herding maneuvers which is about the only thing that will stop her from helping herself to the catnip plant, weaving, jumping, and we run and do stairs together which is pretty fun lol cutest exercise partner ever. One of the funniest things happened when I watched Jurassic World though. She actually responded to the clicker used in the movie for the raptors. She went up to the tv and sat "beside" the raptors then spat and swatted at the TV when the raptors got their treats before she did. The scowl stare down she gave me when she didn't get anything though, that was ridiculous and priceless at the same time. Sadly she only did that the first 2 times we watched the movie. First time she was legitimately puzzled, second time I think the little monkey faked it just to get a treat because she looked right at me when he threw the treats to the raptors.
Leave a recorder there when you’re not around. You’ll probably be amazed at what all it says when you can’t hear. We had a Quaker that would practice words until she perfected them before she would say them in front of us. It was the craziest thing
My neighbor has a bird he sings sorrryy is it to late to say sorrryy that's him at midnight from the top floor at the top of his voice it is creepy sometimes uk 😂😂😂
Are these people totally Mad getting me to sing ? But the Parrot is the intellectual one here and will have the last laugh ! The Parrot did say before the show started : " I am not Singing until we draw up a contract with fee first. "
