Or put ellen in a slot after Soukaku. Regardless, it doesn't really matter outside of the character you want to open with, as long as it goes from Ellen > Lycaon for parry and daze > Soukaku looping back to her
I didn't intend to go after her, but after getting Alexandrina in Standart Banner and losing my 50/50 early to Lycaon it's like the universe wants me to complete the set

Glad you are covering this game my friend. It's been a nice change of pace from Wuwa. Didn't get too lucky on my first account so I restarted, but my new account has been pretty lucky so far. I ended up getting Lycaon first on the Ellen banner, then two Ellen's in the next 20 before a single copy of Soukaku on the rate up banner, so mine is only c0 for now.
Thank you so much for this video, I came here because I had an issue with the "Core passive: Sharp - Toothed" description, my native language is spanish so I have the game in spanish, but the core passive description it´s a little confusing, basically it does not specify that is the skill what gets the % crit dmg and made me think that Ellen herself gets that bonus in her stats and I was like "what I'm doing wrong?" haha, anyway thanks a lot!! Ellen best char and dps so far!
Lycaon is the only one of the VH faction I don’t have. I’ve used up my guaranteed on the standard banner using ungodly means to get Rina because she’s my favourite but I just have to pray I loose the 50/50 to Lycaon one day cuz he’s the only standard I want and need 😭🙏🏻
Tip: If you want more control over which character you switch to on a Perfect Guard, the 'c' key (default) switches to the opposite character that 'space' switches to. May be a bit finicky to hit in combat, but you could probably rebind it.
Hey just letting you know in hollow zero you can change the position of your character. I’m assuming you got soukaku first, so when you get rina you put her in position 2 and soukaku automatically moves to position 3
Got Lycaon as my first S rank (I wad mad asf honestly almost deleted my account). Then I dolphined a lil bit to get Ellen (I won the 50/50) AND I just got Rina as my four S rank (One Koleda popped out of nowhere) in twenty pull. I think the universe is telling me something.
I love Ellen, ~20 away from guarantee hard pity. I don't have Lycaon (yet) so im planning on running Ellen, Rina, Anby or Ellen Soukaku and idk who else 😭
Should i save for the next wave of characters or should i pull for the ellen w engine? Is it the end of the world if i just use the starlight engine until i pull brimstone?
The first five star I got was lycaon for the standard five star and in 20 pulls I got Ellen, for the W engine I loss the 75/25 at 20 pulls but next pull I got it. So as you can guess I’m a Ellen main. My disk drives suck tho. I do know someone who got her 2 times in 1 ten pull, I am still jealous. But I did get pretty lucky.
I honestly have no idea how I got this lucky but somehow I got C4 Soukaku, Elen, Lycaon in like 4 days of playing. Honestly makes the game super fun and makes it super hard for me to leave lol. My EU luck was terrible tho :
I recommend waiting for her Rerun to give you time to get an idea of how impactful having the Signature is in this game. If it's like Genshin you'll have a lot of good quality alternative options, but if it's like HSR you'll struggle to find decent alternatives.
is soukaku or rina better cause i have rina and maxed dups soukaku and picked butler for that pet thing so idk if i should run a mono ice team or run the victorian class thing i really liked butlers energy regen sinc ei dont think this team would be struggling with damage at all im running ellen lycaon and rina for now since rina is the one thats built but if soukaku is better ill catch her up
I was so scared I could only get either Zhu Yuan or Ellen Joe but thankfully Rina came early pity to give me a chance at both (Thank you Rina now I can pull for 2 characters that will probably get powercrept in 2.0)

It's a good game bro but like PGR it has a slow start in story but definitely not bad, as for combat personally I have mixed feelings cuz some parts are really cool while some need work. The switch animation is cool like WuWa but the parry animation feels lacking or unsatisfactory. The Battle ost is pretty sick though different genre from PGR, it makes the fights pretty enjoyable like PGR. Overall if you're looking for a side game as casual then it's pretty good game with cool character animations.
@@FantasyBreaker I agree with everything you said except for the parry being lackluster, everyone I hit a parry it sends happy hormones all throughout my body and the dynamic movement of the camera and the flash and sounds make it so crisp when you time it correctly and also when the enemy attacks multiple times you only have to press the parry button once and it automatically parries multiple times for you. They cooked with the parry I can’t even lie.
I got insanely lucky getting get on the 9th pull, then got rina as well from the standard banner guarantee as well.. he weapon was quite a struggle as I had to go to pity twice which I still consider a win-win situation as I got Rina's weapon first
I want to play this game like I really want to play this game but I already have wurthing waves and Honkai star rail and I have genshin and I play on iPad I might have to delete genshin I really don’t like genshin anymore it’s just boring so I might have to make a choice to delete one of my games
Personally, started with Genshin and still playing and enjoying it the most. Played through HI3rd story, mainly in preparation of Star Rail. The story was great, but zero interest in continuing it after finishing the Kiana arc. Insane power creep and P2W, luckily the story lets you ignore all of that with its trial chars. Briefly tried Tower of Fantasy for a few days, yeah... Played Star Rail for way too long, a year, thinking it'll get better, should've quit after 2 months in retrospect. Too much focus on combat and wasn't a fan of it, too limited and player skill not mattering enough, having autoplay is quite telling. Played Wuthering Waves for over a month, quit after 1.1. The world, story or characters just didn't grab me and didn't want to make the same mistake as with Star Rail. Figured Id just try out ZZZ, didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I have, as I'm really not a fan of the TV mode for the most part. Might drop it after finishing the main story, there is massive amount of content so far, so it'll take a while.
I don't get the appeal of the character or the game's visual design. Her "shark tail" looks like she has the entire lower body of a shark stuck in her. The white damage numbers are distracting and tacky.
