And I think I do understand English speaking humor, I just can't stand bad jokes and gratuitous insults posing as "humour". For example, Philomena Cunk does what I consider to be really funny and clever "English speaking humor".

Anyway, regardless of that, I do recall that she was nominated but did not win… given that she has only one once and that was when she tripped. Anyway, the film Jennifer would have been nominated for would have been either American Hustle or Joy (all nominations, except her first were for David O’Russell films). Given Ellen mentioned Jennifer falling last time, I would assume the film Jennifer was nominated for would have been American Hustle as Joy was her third and final film with David O Russel and her last Oscar nomination. Wow: haha note to self, next time just Google it and save time.
