Funfact about Sharks: Often, the male must bite the female's back, flanks and fins, sometimes inflicting serious looking wounds, in order to get into a position to mate. And Ellen has a bite mark on her tail, so...

Unfortunately Ellen's bite mark is on her tail fin which if we are using real sharks for reference was probably a predation attempt or accidental bite in the case of lemon shark feeding frenzy. Possible Ellen lore for the bite is that she was bullied when she was little which would explain her being so tough now.

Still I think it's because of PlayStation having something against anime like games and they have to change some characters looks to put their games in the PlayStation store. That's why honkai impact doesn't have as many or major changes to the outfits since it's not going on PlayStation consoles.
