I wish this was a series because it would have giving the background of the characters. For example how Ellie's mom died. And I do love relationships, so maybe it could have also showed ellie being in college and aster being in art school and the ellie would come back and they would have a reunion and take it from there. To be honest that's just me. Plus I doubt anybody else would want it.

Many people want a part 2 on this movie but I feel like, this masterpiece can't get better. If they made a part two it would just be another teenage romance where everyone already knows what happens. As Ellie Chu said, no one gets what they want and I guess you can say that about the fans too

This was a great fan made video of the movie. You've strung together some great moments and essential feelings of the movie -- much of which was subtle. Beautifully edited... bordering on the sublime. This could've been a movie theater preview. There were so many layers in the movie. The acting was so natural, with subtle glances and knowing looks... as if we were there in their journey of the minds. The movie did not push... it revealed, what was possible through poignant and intelligent dialogue. Beautifully filmed... with a soft touch on the camera to form a subtle, yet effective and moving narrative. The movie was a minor masterpiece... as is your video.

I’m not a big fan of romance but this rocks! I stan both Ellie x Aster and Paul x Ellie. All of their chemistry is no joke. Wish there was part 2 or smth but probably Netflix’s not goin to sadly. The things that Ellie said in the church is everything. Btw Aster seems like having a hard time accepting she likes girls cuz her strict family and stuff, got messed up in somehow so.. This movie kinda worth your time shy girl trying to find her half of herself.. btw Aster is so damn beautiful even in a girls perspective. Just wow. Spoilers‼️ The ending is kinda satisfying even though they didn’t end up. I mean I’m reality it’s kinda rare that ppl didn’t end up with the one they love.. it’s the way this world works. Only in fairy tales these happy ending works. But Ellie found her another half and also Aster. Paul is so cute that he even searched that “how you know you are gay” he’s trying to understand Ellie even though he believes it’s a sin. The last scene he ran along with the train so just so so cute and heartwarming.... But after Ellie said “Moron” just cracks me up lmaooo But still I think she likes Ellie from the start lmao:: still my opinion though 😂😂

This is so refreshing. It feels they’re real to me. If Only Ellie’s kind of love towards Aster is right, I wouldn’t intentionally ruin that painting that’s for me a great one. This movie also triggered me to quote my own definition of love. Great work of art to the Director/Writer and the Cast.

Their story was great, but the thing is they revealed a lot of themselves via text and letters. I don't know if it was the letters or the things she notice they had in common but, it's as if Aster could feel Ellie and was drawn to her. She did not know why she wanted to hang out with her, talk to her or see her. She stole glances and made time.
