I've been called Patient Zero by military personnel makes me question why they keep taking my blood after blood tests now there's a Disease X after covid...
@@Ayla_9004 I know, and I understand his decision. It is a tough one if you look at it from an emotional perspective. But looking at the bigger picture, the fact is that is that it was pretty selfish.
@@Ayla_9004 The doctors was also selfish they didn't even know if they were gonna be able to make a cure for everybody they were going to take the risk of killing the only chance they got to survive without even really thinking about it it's not like they could keep her dead and good until they figure it out if they do figure it.
No I see Joel in the right all the way. When he got to the hospital he realized he didn’t want to do this a wanted to get Ellie out without killing fireflies. Then they all treat him like shit, especially Marlene. So he resorts to whatever he has to to get her out. The operation hadn’t been performed. Whether he lied to Ellie or not is beside the point, he should have atleast been able to talk to her one last time and see if that was what she wanted.
It sure is amazing, I remember following a lets play when the first came out. But I guess everyone has a different opinion :D my fav game serie is Final Fantasy (if you can actually consider it a serie), if not then Kingdom Hearts my love💛
Bias mindset. Yes it was... He killed abbys dad, who was trying to make the world a better place. Abby simply avenged him. I loved Joel but his death was completely ju
This game is called “the last of us”. It's super good and part two is just as cool. I recommend playing this. There is a movie as well but I prefer the game.
@@sanfayplays9494 it depends on where you are getting it but the movie is free in some places. The games may be free but from what I've been told, you have to buy the games.
This is really one of the most heartbreaking, adventurous, mysterious, gory, and romantic game ever. If you havent at least watched the playthroughs or the show your truly missing out man
Personally, in my opinion, killing Ellie to make a cure would be pointless in every aspect. Even if they managed to make a cure (which was probably very close to impossible), people might be immune to turning, but they wouldn't be immune to being torn apart by infected. A lot of people would still die unless they formed a single large group, which is impossible because it's simply not logical to keep people locked up like that, unable to live how they want. You can talk to me about this, but I still think that making a cure would be pointless, besides keeping them alive in the sense that they won't turn. They would still likely die by being ripped apart.
@@__zj__ That's a good point. Although, what if people don't want the vaccine? What if people take it anyway and still die? It'd be very disappointing to finally be immune, only to die from being ripped apart anyway. I feel like there's also a large chance that they wouldn't have even been able to create a vaccine in the first place (not saying it's impossible, but it seems very unlikely). I also think they could've just taken some blood samples and used that, because when you get bitten the fungus is going to travel in your bloodstream up to your brain anyway. The only reason they realistically would've needed to use Ellie's brain for anything medical is an autopsy or study imo.
@@EllieAldridge1716 Wrong. Peace how? Firstly they wouldn't be able to make a vaccine and secondly how would that stop all the bandits and psychopaths roaming around
@@kaylaabendroth1174They didn't know what they were doing. They had outdated medical technology and no resources to mass produce, refrigerate and distribute a vaccine. Also notice Abby's dad shows nothing on how he's able create a vaccine
it's a game, "the last of us". the character is named Ellie. some of the scenes of older Ellie is from the second game. the first game has been made into a tv show (same name, on HBO) and there's going to be a season two following the storyline of the second game.
Its a really famous game, called the Last of Us. Most of the scenes are from The Last of Us Part 1, and it is an absolutely wonderful game. Stunning visuals and beautiful story. It also had a TV show on HBO Max, but the game is much better in my opinion. I would definitely recommend playing this, and maybe even look into Part 2, even though it wasn't as good as the first.
Nope it’s been theorized that she’s infected with a different disease which is why she’s “immune” but it hasn’t been confirmed so technically there’s no answer yet
Fun fact She wasn't immune she just had a different kind that protected her from others Which explains her very low results on her medical records The type of infection she had is the exact same as one used in real medicine which has the same result that she had on her records
One of the theories is that she is already infected with the fungai, but its actualy a difrent kind, in her test results from the doctor, you could see that she barely has anyting lef from her immune system, and the theory is that this kind of fungai is protecting her from other ones, saying "i got this body so fuck off" and another thing that backs this up is, if her immune sytem is destroyed then how is he still surviving all of these other fungai? So she is not immune, she is just protected, and she would not be able to save already infected people but the uninfected, if she lost it not only would she die but she would also get an infection straith away.
As someone who has never played the game (just randomly popped up in my reels) THIS IS THE THING??? that’s such a cool plot device 😂 idk why this is a new thing for me 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I like that it took some little observations and clarification from other people that she is immune then she embrace that identity, cuz when she said "I am immmune" in confidence it sounds so powerful to me
Her mother was bitten just before giving birth. The mushroom got into her brain but kind of accepted her in a symbiotic relationship in that way.... at least that is how it was portrayed in the live adaptation.
They were the perfect pair. A man lost in within the godforsaken world that took his daughter, lost and without hope for the future. A child who's known nothing other than the world everyone was forced to endure. Only to be made mankind's first and last hope for survival. Giving Joel his second chance he braved seemingly endless horrors and reminding him of what it truly means to be alive until he drew his last breath.
There's always going to be one person immune or one person who turns into a zombie but retains their human intelligence so they know what's right from what's wrong what they're not supposed to do stuff like that
