I don’t watch many prime-time television series. It seems so many of what I have come across-which have at least a cast of six-will have at least two character who romantically fit with each other. “NCIS” has that in Nick Torres and Ellie Bishop. It was first apparent in “Enemy Combatant” (S14E09, 11.22.2016). It became much more urgent in “High Tide” (S15E11, 01.02.2018). How “NCIS” paces the story for them is not going to satisfy viewers who want more movement sooner rather than later. I hope “NCIS” doesn’t make the same mistake with Nick and Ellie that it did with Tony and Ziva-a seeming disappointment due to the departure of a cast member. The reason I think “NCIS” should make Nick and Ellie happen, above everything else, is that characters evolve and so do their lives. Tim is now married to a woman with whom they are right for each other. And it is plenty reasonable to also see others’ lives move and arrive to where they personally need to be. So, I would like this to happen-officially getting Nick and Ellie to become a couple-by no later than the end of the current 16th season of “NCIS.” Six seasons of Ellie and three seasons of Nick-two characters in their 30s-and it makes lots of sense for them to finally happen.

Ziva knows, and we all know that Jimmy was lying when he said that there was no chemistry, so I hope that they at least make more characters realise about the sparks between them (ellie and nick) at the end of s17. My parents are getting crazy of me shouting at the tv when there's an ellick scene😂😂😂😂

The unfortunate thing is DiNozzo and Ziva spent 8 seasons together meaning these two only had 5 seasons together. Unfortunately Bishop left in season.18 and so this likely won’t go anywhere unless she comes back like Ziva did

Looks like I’ve missed a whole bunch since I quit watching. Loosing Abby was too much for me. Haven’t watched a single episode since. Abby was the reason I watched since the first season.
