Yes!! She got my vote! Girl needs it! Can't say I disagree with Craig, but come on! It was waaaaay better than it was made out to be. She was so in character, the shaping was brilliant! Fire and attack was just killed by the music choice. Ellie danced that incredibly well.

I just want to say how beautiful and elegant Johannes is...and Ellie is stunning; what a beautiful pairing! Shirley lighten up dear!

Ellie Taylor and Johannes Radebe next. As one of my favourites I was willing Ellie to get the Paso Doble right however it was not meant to be. I think the song is one of the best Paso Doble songs ever but because it's so overwhelmingly great whoever is dancing to it needs to be on the same level and Ellie wasn't. I do not think it is fair to give any celeb a Paso Doble this early on in the show Paso Doble needs to be saved for Blackpool or the final when the celeb's are better skilled at dancing, Ellie wasn't ready Paso Doble and it showed but Ellie can dance and I hope she with practice get better because I'm sure she can.

Score - *7/10* Susanna and Kevin memories here (quite a few reused songs tonight) I loved the intent and shaping very well extended, good chasee capes and a nice grancircle, the position at the end was gorgeous. For me, it lacked Spanish line and shape in the upper body, it was too straight and placed, I saw the connection and performance but it was just missing those finer details and fire, I would have licked more aggression but I thought it was really undermarked because the content and choreography was really really stunning and it was a lovely traditional Paso, JoJo gives good Paso, but I think Ellie is more suited to framework, maybe the exception of a Jive or Charleston? I liked this though

Can I say Ellie’s legs are absolutely gorgeous. I see a lot of potential with her she was definitely underscored for this it’s so clearly Shirley is against the female contestants she always picks a female every series to undermark and be harsh towards.

Got my votes and I love this pairing! What the Hell is wrong with Shirley and she seems to dislike women.

Score: 6 She seems better at ballroom. She got part of the technique aspect down, but she did kinda walk through a fair bit of it. She needs to give a bit more conviction to the routine. The fact that Shirley marked this lower than Tony is a CRIME though!

Shirley gave a 5 for this?! What kind of level is she expecting...in Germany it would have been an 8 😆

I love Paso Double! I used to dance to this song with Hilary, Pasha and Brendan. I would have liked to see more attack but I know Ellie is too sedate. Great all the same though 👍

Marvelous costume. She'd have a fleeting second of brilliance every now and then. Not bad, considering she's a non-dancer.

The four key elements in the paso-Doble are as follows: Shaping in the body (the line of the body is not vertical but is what's called a "banana shape"), flamenco arms, tilted hips (the hips are brought forward) and fire in the eyes. Great tune, magnificent outfits, Ellie came out on the dance floor as a queen, full of pride and glory. But then, as the actual Paso Doble started, I didn't get the drama and the passion from her, her eyes resonated somewhat a fear. The dancing itself was too stiff. Her arms were not working enough (though there were some lovely moments), the tilted hips were missing, her body was too vertical. Too much working with the skirt, and sadly less interpreting this gorgeous music and the style of dance withing the body. More attention to the technique. I would love to see much less stiffness in Ellie's body and even more expression and artistry. My score: a 5.

So so undermarked like Shirley enjoyed Tony and Matt more than this. it makes no sense Motsi preferred Hamza’s jive more!

7 Judges were a bit harsh. I thought she had great performance value and her shaping was very impressive! Needs to drive more through her legs and, yes, her arms were at times a little haphazard.

Score: *5* I felt like the dance was rather nice. I felt like the technique was meh. The Paso needs a bit of aggression and attack within the dance, and I felt Ellie was too cute in the movements, like very delicate in the execution. There were moments of it but I felt it need a bit more. I feel like she will survive next week, but unfortunately, I felt rather underserved by this dance.

From the chest upwards it's really good. Unfortunately the rest of the body is lacking. The hips in a paso should be brought forward and there needs to be much more intent and precision in the lower body. Still an enjoyable watch though. 5

I think the music is too big ( hope that makes sense) for a complete novice and I felt that Ellie lacked attack but for a non-dancer only in week two it was pretty good. Liked the arms and hands.

Wrong music to get into the character of the paso double is more like a military march. You were so good the first week. You csn do better.

Not as good as Kevin and Susannah's which was set to the same music. Not bad, just the energy was a little lacking.
