It’s been a long exciting day for the Whitehead family (me too 😉)
Not only did both eaglets fledge the nest all three, Ellie,Vic and Sid spent a long warm summer’s evening enjoying time together in and around the nest. I can only assume Eddy is out of town on a business trip. In all seriousness though it’s quite common that at the male eagles are not as involved at this time. I’ve only seen Eddy a couple of times in the last week or so. He has been spotted near by in one of our other adjacent trees.
