Can you just imagine that first meeting and that chemistry and how it just continued to build until Liv's whole world fell apart when Elliot left, and then all these years later, seeing him for the first time in God knows how long and it all came rushing back?

h o l y a n g s t- that was soooooo CINEMATIC

Okay, first of all, the editing in this is SUPERB, I can only imagine how long this must have taken you to do. It's been ages since I touched video editing but I remember sinking hours into it. Second, whatever score(s) you chose for this is honestly epic. It swells in all the right places, and you do such a great job editing WITH it, rather than just having it be in the background. It really heightened the emotional impact for me. Third, I LOVED that you had the 1.0 footage going in reverse. Some of the bits of them walking hit hard, and the closer we got to the beginning, the more emotional weight there was, even though that was the beginning for them. The lingering looks felt almost like them breaking their own fourth wall; there was so much KNOWING there, a real sense of what was to come. And last, I just... really felt the longevity of this show and these characters and this pairing by the way you put this whole video together. Sometimes I forget that this show started airing when I was a child, and that I've lived this right alongside them. It makes me so excited for what's to come. Thank you for creating and sharing this!

An introduction like yours feels like you're throwing down the gauntlet and challenging me to find any flaw in your work. Well, challenge accepted. I watched this whole video edit - twice! - with my most critical and completely clueless eyes and didn't find *one single thing* to pick apart. The music? The first piece, especially, gives me chills. It's pure movement. I *feel it* flying through time and soaring over the past, like a bird over the ocean but I know I'm going to a new land that I've never seen before. The backwards through time images in black and white (with red sparkles)? Just ... wow! I feel like the sparks are flames from Olivia's heart because these are HER thoughts and memories about Elliot. All this is going through her mind the moment she sees him. Then the music tone changes completely and we are snapped back to the moment she lost her partner (also in black and white so we know it's still the past). We rush forward through the ten years Olivia lived without him. It makes me dizzy (then I see Olivia spinning Noah and YESS! that's how it feels)! Then, even as the music is roaring, you switch to high definition color as the tension snaps all the way back. They reunite and resume moving forward. And the music changes, AGAIN - there's drawn-out tension when Olivia says people are telling her to stay away. Instead, she slowly walks towards Elliot..... They're at a new beginning. Music, motion, color, time. This whole thing, the way it's put together, is metaphorical and operatic and scientific and brilliant! Most particularly, the backwards scenes felt like they were becoming more powerful even as we were watching them go back through time and there was less history between them back then. I'm not sure if I am explaining this well, but it felt like we were watching kinetic energy (of movement) converting back into its original potential energy (of possibility), which was at its greatest strength the moment they met. And then, the switch forward was another transition showing their movement towards each other until they reach another pinnacle of potential energy. The music swells like waves crashing on this brand new shore and anything can happen now! As the challenge concludes you'll find me at a loss. As hard as I tried to find fault, I only found more to appreciate.

This made me so emotional somehow , to look back at all those years they were together as partners and those in which they weren't . It's been edited beautifully . In awe of your talent 😍

That line by Jet has always stuck with me and how deep it actually ran. Here are two people who have experienced a lifetime between them and "know" each other so well - even the parts they'd rather forget. This video is a glimpse at that, and what an experience! The juxtaposition of black & white and then colour just made it even more emotional. Thank you for this beautiful and artistic piece! ❣

I would like all the people that hate Elliot stabler with Olivia to think about the day that Kathy dies Elliot is looking at an empty bed and Liv comes and they hug he buried his head in her shoulder and she closes her eyes as she has before and think of this he is very sad his wife has passed but I also believe he is relieved that perhaps for the first time in a while he can exhale it doesn't mean he didn't love her I just believe he hadn't been in love with for a very very long time and Olivia was the reason
