Elliot turns 8 years old this afternoon, and his birthday wish is that the word would spread about DIPG and people would consider donating their time, money, and/or efforts to help fund research to find a cure.
Elliot's best friend, Hollis, died from DIPG on January 2, shortly after making the 9mo mark post-diagnosis. He didn't make it to his 8th birthday on February 26.
Yes, the percentage of the population diagnosed is small, but NO that DOESN'T mean they don't deserve funding! Our children are our future; let's find a way to save them and defeat DIPG once and for all!
