This is a real artist. Not a performer with the big beat and ego, but a songwriter and an artist who got too tired about this world. I miss you since nearly 17 years now, through all the highs and lows of life, your music's always there. Thank you, Elliott.
I love Elliott Smith more than words can say. He is the greatest artist to have walked the face of this planet. I only discovered him just over 2 years ago and since then all other music now seems inferior. My life will always be incomplete because I never saw him when he was alive.
He's talking of keys in terms of music theory. Songs usually follow certain key that have certain chords. Elliott changed the key of the song for that part, which adds sort of different feel to it.
Always a weird feeling when you suddently find out about a singer and a song you never heard of before, but instantanely feel should have been a part of your life all your life. There it was! Unique!

I'm pretty sure he felt awkward a lot of the time, but it doesn't take away he didnt enjoy it. This was like his one time under the spotlight with this song, and Im sure he was like glad he got to see the day. He chose to not live as a star but I bet he never regretted getting a taste of it
