It was so sad when he passed. I just found out we were born just days apart the same month of August and the year 1969 me the 2nd him the 6th. It's just a crazy coincidence. 😮
This honestly might be one of his best live performances recorded and it has the quality of a VHS you'd find in the back corner of a library's basement.
@@SmittenKitten. it’s also pays a bit of homage to me because I see myself in Elliott - dark, guitar player, addiction issues, etc. If I had the same talent as Elliott, my result could have been similar but I don’t so I had to make a normal life for myself.
It's so sad these are all so grainy. It's like 1930s video but it's not. Amazing dude who is missed. So sad, I never got to see him live before he died, I remember the day. You're not forgotten, buddy.
I’d prefer to hear the organize conversation of smith n O’Brien more than the rest of the shows dialogue other than the music , these guys are both great
Thanks for putting this up. Couldnt find it for a while. Really like Conans seemingly genuine enjoyment of the song. Wish Elliott was still with us. I woulda been more excited about being in the same room as Marc Maron tho
Americans don't chat about, we talk, we converse, and we even shoot the shit, but never do we chat about. We leave that to you pansy ass Brits while you talk on the telly wearing your trousers.
@@xXD0MMOXx hey, I'm an American myself but have no issues with Brits. Actually, I love the history of your country. I'm curious as to what a gun shagger is? Or however it was put? Is that like a common use for an insult? Like douche bag or something? Please advise. Thank you. P.S. my curiosity is genuine.
@faster jonny well it's not obvious to me. I'm not sure why you gotta be a dick about it. My bad for not understanding that gun shagger translates to a very high percentage of U.S. citizens own guns. I think that's what you're saying anyway, you did finish your sentence with a question mark indicating you are asking me.
I can't listen ti this. Mainstream success was the worst thing that ever happened to Elliott. Not in terms of artistic integrity, but it just teared his sense of community apart. Peace
Suicide is heart breaking, but very courageous. Some people just can’t stop their own pain so they end it. To take your own life is the single most intimate and terrifying moment an individual can have with themselves. But judging from your comment you don’t understand. I hope you never have to experience crippling depression like I, Elliott, and many others have to feel. It would surely change your mind.
