Of course sfs is better, since it's an old game. But Ellipse is still new, it need time to be like sfs. I believe in few years, ellipse will become a big game like sfs
Yeah I guess there trying to make a successful Kerbal space program Mobile version and hopefully there would be lots of updates then it would hopefully become big
Just started playing Ellipsis and playing SFS since it came out in 2017. I noticed in Ellipsis to land you can slow way down if you land with the capsule facing forward. I can build with side boosters but can't find a way to jettison them. This game is trial and error. I like it but it needs instructions.
I have both games, and have both expansions as well...After playing both EFS and SFS a lot, I'd have to say that both games are equally as good, because what one isn't very good at, the other is...For instance, EFS has WAY better graphics, and realistic Rockets, as SFS has more parts to better customize your own rocket, just not as real...EFS has way more realistic gravity, escape velocity, realistic fuel efficiency, and the planets(the few it has, although the last update, they added Mercury and Venus at least) are very realistic with real geography of the planets in the graphics, as SFS it's WAY easier to escape earths sphere of influence, enter other planets orbits, as well as landing on other planets surfaces, it's almost impossible in EFS, just to even get to the Moon, little lone land on it, which I have FINALLY learned how to do, and have recently learned how to reach the other planets, but STILL super difficult, as SFS not only easier, but there's hundreds of tutorials that you can watch to easily teach you, and very easy to learn....Ive been searching for videos, or any kind of tutorials to reach planets, and dock in orbit, for EFS, but finding them is far and in between, or not the kind of tutorial I'm looking for...In short, they both have their perks, and both have their set backs, pros and cons if you will, are equal on both sides...And I enjoy them both, and get equally frustrated with both, the same as the other...
ERS isn't a great game as of now. I downloaded it and within 10 minutes came across lots of bugs and issues. There are also very limited parts right now and the game doesn't have a good variety of engines to pick from like how SFS does. However, this game certainly has potential. As it did release only recently (I think so at least) it still hasn't reached its full potential. I bet you that if the game keeps receiving updates in the following years it will become thousands of times better and possibly even compete with games like SFS, JNO or even KSP.
@@AzureW0lfGaming541 yeah and SFS has lots and good free parts as well and you could just BP edit or download mods (only for PC) and there's planet editing , but ERS doesn't have as much cool and secret features like SFS
Both the games are good in unique ways. I have only landed on the moon in sfs but I still know its better than Ellipse. Its easy to understand and has much more options to show your creativity. The only thing ellipse is good at is its 3d graphics. But the 2d graphics of sfs are easy to understand. Feels like they did a great job in making a game with 2d graphics so addictive. But sfs still tops Ellipse in every other way
@@NotBlondralZanderReal yeah 6 days later:- I finally landed on the moon again and returned safely to earth. This means I slowly am getting better at the game. Btw love your video.😊
I do agree with you because ERS is really cool but it doesn't have much features so if this game has a lot of features then many would definitely want to install this game
My problem with sfs is that I can't see the sun or the moon in the background. No astronauts can walk in space and walk on planets (yet)There is no night or day I managed to do this in JNO, I quit sfs and became a JNO player
Ellipse is pretty new ( at the time i uploaded this comment) while SFS has been for a while so comparing them is like comparing computer from 2000s to the modern computers. It makes no sense especially whem there is single developer ( i am not quite sure however ) while SFS have entire team and discord server. However the game can grow fast if they add water ( not sure how easy it will be for the developer to simulate buoyancy) and wings ( again the same with water but air drag, lift and others ) SFS is pretty good if you want something done and not something still in development.
problem with ERS is that it's graphics are very choppy and resolution seems very low. I mean it is a phone game and has restrictions but still this is not the most a normal gamer would want the graphics to look like. On the other hand SFS has good graphic resolution plus it is not choppy in most areas. The problem of less variety in ERS is going to be resolved as it is just a new game but the graphics have to be corrected as it is a issue with many games i have seen that the devs never correct them.
eclipse needs some time to build up quality and more variety of items to surpass SFS. i play both and eclipse needs some time but its a definite competitor to SFS
Try space rocket exploration I know it’s mobile and a knockoff off the elipse one but it’s cool and fuel distribution is like sfs but no like putting fuel in another fuel tank but me and my brother play it
Sfs was really greats but I started quitting it and then I found ers time to get to work Edit:plus there's water and it's taking 1000 years just for sfs to have water
Yep SFS has been around for quite awhile now and for some what reason they haven't added water yet :/ And also if there's no water then no vegetation so there's no point of adding grass
@@NotBlondralZanderRealpersonal on the dev are ya? they can’t add water just now they’re programming it, also they added grass because YES. anyway stop fuckin on the devs
Honestly there's only 2 good rocket building simulator on phone, Juno new origins, literally Kerbal on phone, paid game And spaceflight simulator, free game
ers and sfs is like: (original) KSP→→→→→↓ ↓(inspired) ↓(inspired) SFS→→→→ERS (inspired) also i got some info about sfs developer. one of sfs dev wanted to help the ksp devs. but he couldnt do it so he decided to make similar game to ksp. and thats where sfs born.(i heard it from somewhere so idk if its true)
Tbh ERS is better because it is 3D and you can build satellites, get to the moon and splash down and it has water. On the other hand, Sfs is 2D and when you click map, it is entirely blue and when you zoom up, it is green
