Northside ISD dedicated its newest elementary school, Bonnie Ellison Elementary on October 29, 2014. The school is named for Bonnie Ellison, the longtime School-Business-Community Partnerships Director for NISD who helped establish and lead the Northside Education Foundation. She was also the District’s first public relations director. She retired in 2012 after 40 years in Northside.
