There were some "mystery" flavours of chocolate that Cadbury brought out. I too wondered about the ingredients (didn't stop me trying it, despite my peanut allergy haha 😅)
I also assumed they need to write the ingredients (eg for poison control) but surprisingly it's almost never included. Especially since they make money by selling a "magic" product or refills, most companies are reluctant to write what it is since you can probably get the same thing much cheaper elsewhere.
@@maqaroon the safety data sheet for the secret solution lists the main ingredient as some kind of silicone. Between 50 and 75 percent. Hexamethyldisilazane less than 5 percent, whatever that is. "There are no additional ingredients present which, within the current knowledge of the supplier and in the concentrations applicable, are classified and hence require reporting in this section"
They really don't add the ingredients/components? D: in my country it's required for most products and if it's an imported product they need to add a big label indicating them
I’ve been watching you for years, I started watching your channel in 3rd grade and now that I’m a first year in high school I just wanna thank you for the hard work in your videos. I come to your channel when I am in need of comfort and I cannot tell you how much times I’ve been up at 4am having struggling with life but eventually falling asleep while watching your videos because they bring me so much comfort. I really appreciate you! thank you! sending love to you and your family 🫂🤍
Thank for that lovely comment and I'm so glad to know that this is one of your comfort channels. Things will get better someday even though it may not feel like it somedays ❤
Gonna be honest they have more expression than those simple seals and bears that people love so much and that you also made. The fox looks grumpy or mischievous, the hippo looked happy and like he was waving, the narwhal also looked happy. I have a cat squish from a brand and it has the cutest face, but the ones you made in your video as the base, which are also the popular ones and the ones everyone always makes in videos, they have no expression and are just blobs till you paint on them. These are actually part of the mould by the looks of it. I dunno how you can say they have no expression and don't look like they can appeal to girls or boys, but the ones you made and use as an example are easy sellers because they're simple, when you say you aren't happy with the lack of expression on the elmers ones. Do you want expressions on the characters or do you want simple shape blobs? I really can't tell what your expectations of this are.
They actually have a whole section on their website that tells every characters personality. It’s pretty well thought out, and I applaud them for that.
Oh that's a nice detail! I didn't know that. But sadly the percentage of people going from a physical product to their website is extremely low and it's unlikely to reach many users.
@@maqaroon that is true. I just think that it’s an easy way to make your own squishies, it’s super affordable, and extremely fun. I painted faces on mine so they didn’t look like a blob lol
I LOVE the character shapes. 😍😍😍 They remind me of Crazy Bones and are super nostalgic for me. Thank you for sharing this product. It makes me really happy.
I'd wager to say the reason the puni gel started to harden so fast was something to do with how the mixture oxidizes/acts when exposed to air, seeing as it tells you to mix it inside of the packet (airtight) which is most likely to give you more time with the liquid and prevent that 'milky' air bubble thing from happening if you mix it in open air. RIP to your fingers though, sucks that its not easier to mix that way lol 😭
I Noticed you didn’t use it on your video but the slots in the stirrers in the elmer’s kits can be used to ensure you squeeze all the product out of the ‘secret packets’ i thought this was another good detail ☺️
Yes I thought that was a very neat detail as well! I filmed it but unfortunately it was out of focus so I had to leave the clip out of the final video.
I have a 6 year old girl who is desperate to get every single one of these. They might not appeal to SOME girls, but I think there's plenty of girls who will enjoy the characters.
I agree, my daughter will also like these but I don't think they have the same appeal as Shopkins, NumNoms or many of the other blind boxed characters for the same target market.
EXPeriment idea! SEE HOW FAR U CAN STRETCH THE SOLUTION PACKS BY ADDING A LOT OF THE GLUE ! theoretically it would eventually get too diluted to cure, im curious to the actual limit!
I completely agree that the Elmer’s molds are bland, but I don’t want them to be too girly either, or boy-ish. I think they are okay right now, despite being a little funny-looking (in my opinion) . That’s just how kids diy toys look. But yeah, the solution was actually kinda good quality. 😊
That's what I did. I bought just the refill elders squishy stuff. I had clear elders glitter glue and used that to color it. used my own mold. Turned out great.
You're really creative, I come to your channel for last minute gift ideas or just cute innovations all of your videos are really calming and cool to try. Thank you!!
Can you do more squishy DIY/experiments w the Elmer’s glue kit? Like what happens if you put in white glue or clear glue like you said? What kind of pigments to use instead of just glitter glue (like pastel dust, ink, paint etc?)
I'm slightly interested to see what happens if you *don't* add any glue at all. The fact that you're supposed to use exactly one tube of glitter glue made me wonder if the glue was an integral part of the formula, and if it sets differently without it.
You can use water bottle caps to hold small portions of the mixture and color separately so things like eyes, paws, tails, ears, nose ect can stand out with more character. 🤷♂️
These just came into my store i work at! I tried rhw smallee starter kit and worked well! Ur video helped me explain this to some of my coworkers and customers who were curious bout it. Thanks alot, i hope to see more fun uploads in the future (fyi the character sculpts r nice to squish but they need a better character designer)
These would have been great for me and my sisters (maybe my brother would have made one too), we were/are all kinda goofy and these would be very appealing to us, but I understand if it wouldn't be super appealing to every girl.
Just going to say, this isn't a resin, it's a very soft silicone. Silicone also comes in part A and B mix's and there's many kinds that offer a nice squish, and most don't care about added water or such. Many use Smooth-on brand silicones, many offer a very nice squish.
The video was amazing you just got a new subscriber! You might not see this but just a question where did you get the octopus mold just wondering bc I would love to get it and try to make a squishy with it.
And you are to me a professional squishy maker, and tester, but kids don’t really care about the small details 😂 there most likely going to play with it for 5min and then for get about it
These are so cute. I think I'll do what you said and use my own molds if I can find them in the uk. Thanks Joanna 😀😊💖 how's isabelle doing? XXXX 😭just looked only do them in the US and don't shop in the UK. 💔💔
