Hey CBG! I rewatched the video and counted the amount of bottoming you did this game lol. You Scryed in total 22 times. Now the amount of cards you topped/bottomed is +/- 2 because at 55:18 I couldn't tell what you did that turn. With that, you scryed in total 48 cards. During the edited bit I mentioned, I think you said top 2, which puts you at 16 Topped cards and 32 Bottomed Cards. Meaning you bottomed 66.6% of your scryed cards. However, if you bottomed those two cards at the edit, at worst you scryed 70.8% of your cards to the bottom of your deck. Fun Bottom Fact: Ben did scry 1 twice in this game. He bottomed both of those cards meaning Ben is 100% confirmed Bottom compared to you. I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did.

Can we take a moment to appreciate the fact that we get an episode every week at this point !!! Not to mention, at the same high quality camera work and editing, that other shows need a schedule of 1 or 2 episodes/month to provide.

This series is legit my most anticipated video on YT each week. I love the decks, the banter, the tactics, the humor, and just the dynamic this playgroup has. Deserves more views and revenue!

Cgb drew about 80 extra cards, scry’d 60 times, lowered the mana cost of 20 spells, and it took him an hour to find the card in his deck to win. This is the most control deck in the history of magic, and I love it.

If only Ben’s draws were as good as his comebacks, he’d never lose a game.

The thing I love about this group is that it reminds me of how funny and present we can be when we show up for game night. Yes, this is a fun group of people, but every game group I can remember has been funny and great in it's own way. This show has really brought that back to me. So, thanks! This show shows exactly what's great about gaming with little fuss or complication. They just play and make us laugh. Thank you Shea, Blake, Ben and CGB. This is super entertaining and inspiring.

The moment, when everyone at the table knows CGB will finish the game now and so does every viewer, but it still takes him playing 20 cards over 20 minutes - thats a blue mage if i ever seen one

I like how people are attacking/damaging everything but the planeswalker that’s clearly central to the deck’s plan. Great threat assessment all around.

CGB - I appreciate the effort you have put into sharing the spotlight on this show. Blake did an awesome job hosting and I know Shea and Ben would do great as well. I think people would watch this group play a game even if you weren't involved. Hats off for building something bigger than yourself.

CGB: TRIGGERSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Now that that's out of the way. I love how synergistic CGB's deck was and even though it looked like he was having a tough time scrying to the bottom a lot it moved through his deck and got him to where he needed to be when he needed to be there. It was a pure clinic of Blue magic and I KNOW Blake was kicking himself for meming the dream this week out of all weeks. He had fun but watching his frenemy draw all those cards had to hurt. Good game all and I love the show. I know CGB loses money on each of these videos and doesn't have to put them out but I love the content so thank you so much Sensei.

What an awesome episode! That Puzzle-Box looked like it gave CGB something productive and fun to do every upkeep. Glad to know of it's existence to potentially put in my Neera, Wild Mage deck! Great vibe between everyone - was super enjoyable to watch.

I really enjoyed all 4 of those decks. CGB & Blake each played decks that seemed really unique, while the other decks had a few twists in old favorite decks. Fun game.

Im sure a million people have tweeted and commented this but CGB Eligeth, Crossroads Augur is a blue Partner commander that lets you draw every time you would scry , pretty sweet

CGB IS devastatingly handsome, but I don't think this will be his favourite comment! I noticed at 59:50 on the turn when he played the Seagate Restoration, he discounted the cost by 4 because of a scry 1 from Oath of Jace and a scry 3 from the Netherese Puzzle Ward, but that isn't how Elminster works; each scry action discounts the next spell by the amount of THAT scry, so there would have been a discount of 1 from the first and he would have had to cast an instant before resolving the Netherese Puzzle Ward's trigger to get the discount of 1, but since he didn't the Scry 1 is REPLACED by the Scry 3 as the discount for the next spell. I only noticed this the one time, and it wouldn't have mattered here since he had plenty of mana available, but he might have been playing it this way throughout the game and getting some unreasonably large discounts. Something to keep in mind for next time, and for anyone else playing Elminster!

In all honesty! as much as i was rooting for ben and blake, cgb played that game EXTREMELY well. classic control cgb. amazing wincon. and the seagate restoration. classic cgb. besides yorion i am sure SURE! thats his next favorite card.

I would have loved to see Shea use Heliod's lifelink on Ben's creature to give it life link to keep him in the game when he blocked.

Felt like CGB played with his control-smirk for at least 50 minutes straight leaving me with no doubt his victory would EVER be endangered. Totally in his comfort zone this game ;)

This is a real mistake... The Mysictal Tutor that found the Second Sun 1:02:10 would have removed all the bonus from your commander It just means that the mana to cast the prison would not have been available...and wouldn't have been able to either: strip mine or mind stone.

Eligeth the mono blue one with partner, makes you draw instead of scrying which is a scry-ble deck.

inkmoth/blinkmoth nexus and mishras factory can sac for all 3 types in Baba Lysaga, so I run exploration effects and crucible of worlds effects and lots of ways to tutor them and lands. once you get a man land plus multiple lands a turn effect plus GY recursion for lands you can go off.

25:00 you can!t cast the spell for 3 less cause the commander wasn’t on the battlefield when the scry of the enchantment went off so it didn’t trigger for that one

CGB with the Classic blue/white mage strat, I do all the things and win while harming no players in the game. He took out some creatures and plains walkers, countered some spells and removed artifacts and enchantments but no players were damaged by CGB to win the game.

It's nice to see CGB being the only blue mage at the table. Every spell cast, all eyes go to him to see if it resolves. You don't get that kind of entertainment on MTGA.

When I was in an LGS back in 2000ish i was playing some mtg while the owners of the store were conversing about wizards in fantasy, one asked the other "who do you think would win, Gandalf or Elminster?" to which the other replied, "well Elminster isn't real." That was simply accepted as true and they moved on.
