Elna Lotus SP bobbin case repair - Removing a cotton jam from a Elna Sewing machine

My lotus is unusable, cotton jammed under bobbin case. I managed to clear it easily after watching your wonderful vid but it immediately jams again with just one hand turn of the wheel, so I guess it’s something more serious.

I am so glad I found this video!! Where can I find part number 401150 that is shown in the schematic? It is a tiny little washer, but the machine won't work without it!!! Thank you for any help you can provide!!!

Hi! I have an Elna TX Electronic machine, but as far as I see, it is basically the same as this one. The horizontal spring next to the bobbin case came off yesterday. Could you please help me how to put it back? Where the two ends of the spring go? Thank you in advance! :)

I removed a different screw and now it’s a mess 😩😩😩 Do you have a video to show how to put back everything in the right place?

Thanks for the video. After removing the 2 screws I still couldn't lift out the bobbin case. It's jammed after it pulled a thick fiber of the material I was sewing. Help please. Thanks

Followed your instructions for loosening the two correct screws to release the bobbin case on my Elna ZZ. The bobbin case wiggles just a bit but cannot be removed. The screws are loose and twirl in place. Do you think the screws are somehow stripped? What else could be holding the bobbin case in place?

I am trying to replace the rotary hook cover on my Elna TX Electronic - the cover plate. I can see you doing it very easily in the video at 3.45, but can't quite make out what you are saying - something like "You might have to move the feet up... to move it down" How do I get those feet to move out of the way, please!

Does your bobbin case move around at all after you've tightened the two screws?

This style of elna bobbin case is without doubt the worst design iv ever seen. It ruins the whole experience of sewing with the machine.
