@@mikeblaz Slow is irrelevant - it can take all night cleaning the kitchen and all day cleaning the appartment when you are at work. Useless is more the thing - but I would not bet on 2025 for it not to start being usable. AI has a funny speed of development and Tesla finally has all the compute they wanted.
@@ThomasTomiczek They keep showing snippets. I want to see it clean the whole downstairs. Not push the vacuum once. I want to see it make the entire sandwich. .I want to see it cut the entire lawn not a still picture with it and a lawnmower. They are BSing this entire video. It's so far away from doing any of this...
No, if you want a large cash withdrawal you have to order the money and have a reason for the withdrawal. So there’s no large cash sums in bank these days.
It's coming whether we like it or not, and the only place we'll be able to hide is caves again unfortunately, because caves can be hazardous even for robots.
Buy the hardware... and then sign up for your monthly subscription of :gardening, cooking, laundry, mowing expansion packs for this season. New skins coming soon.
@@MyBodyzBetterhe will learn inside of his niche in which you will subscribe. This is money game dude! Let's say $10 gardening, $10 cooking etc. But you can subscribe for everything and Optimus will learn everything you want (almost) for $150/month.
@@wompstopm123 not possible. If it will... there will be hundreds or thousands of injuries or even murders. If you Jailbreak your iPhone can stop working properly, but that is only your problem - there is nothing dangerous about it if we don't count some battery overhearing issues. Robot is a different thing - can cause damages or injuries to his owner or somebody else. That simply can't happen because if it will - there will be mass scarcity of purchasing such a robot. It would collapse... High trust issues.
I remember people saying this was far off about 4 years ago despite Elon telling everyone things would drastically change within the next few years. It never ceases to amaze me seeing how people continue using the same old method of gauging where AI will be within the next decade, comparing it to the last decade, forgetting that the time that it is taking AI to reach the next level is also rapidly decreasing.
I am not forgetting that I just don't believe it's related. He doesn't own the AI industry and I don't believe he had anything to gain by scaring people and telling them things were going to get weird. He was simply giving out warnings. You're acting as if he was talking about his own products by giving out warnings in regard to where society was headed.@@harrycooper5231
Elon is your man. I hope Neuralink will help your situation soon. "Neuralink is a brain-computer interface (BCI) device that Elon Musk's company hopes will allow people with paraplegia to regain movement. "
@@PSulitzer they are using virtual worlds for training where the AI will perform a task, millions of times before it even enters the real world. that learned skill is then saved like on a disk and installed on every robot, and they learn the skill in seconds just like in the matrix, you wanna learn kung fu they hit a few buttons. You now have the kung fu skill set. So once you have 50 robots, every one of them knows how to walk already. Every one knows how to pour juice. Every one knows how to do all the skills that they’ve already mastered one time with one robot. Then imagine that they have Bluetooth and they have a hive mind where the skill sets are housed in one cloud location, but they all have it. This is our future.
I literally just said this after seeing my buddies little Electric BMD.. In the future, we could have a small car that has a robot built right in. The bot can come with us wherever we like. It completely makes sense. Less hardware with more useability
The video failed to mention the subscription fee. I assume this will be the most significant part of the cost. In addition, if you train the bot to do something, can you retain the rights to your process?
How will the robot handle the chaotic environment of a home with animals? We have dogs and cats that get underfoot and bump into us constantly. I could see the same with the robot. Looking forward to this BIG TIME!!!
Even if these Optimus robots can bring your Courier boxes that will be more than what can be asked..plus prepare and serve food in restaurants, walk your dog, clean your homes. People or Companies can share such Robots to serve them all day around. Give it a rest of like 3-4 hrs intermittently for battery cooling.
@@edwardenashllig1143 I doubt that employers will make more money off robots I don’t think all the companies will allow us to stay home not make money to pay for things when we don’t have jobs I guess we’ll see
@@lghtskin36Amazon spent a billion on digit (humanoid robots) that are already working in their factory. A lot of people are already starting to be replaced. Although Digit is slower than some humans, it can do 3+ shifts a day, and doesn't take lunch break, doesn't use bathroom, doesn't complain or stop working. never needs vacation days or time off. Even if it's one payment of $250,000 (will be cheaper when they mass produce them) for one of them, it can work several years and is overall much cheaper than a human. It's better at long marathons of work, doesn't get tired. Eventually it will be as fast as a human, so when they are" better faster safer and cheaper " many companies will be purchasing them.
If robots are going to take over then we should create a system where the robot gets paid for the human who purchased and trained the robot, Example my boss wants to replace me for a robot, I replace myself with a robot but only get 75-80% of my check only if I supply the robot.
Watch the movie Surrogates wifh Bruce Willis is almost what you are seeing the difference is that we control the robot like a video game from home wifh our mines
The idea that Optimus could customize its voice and personality is fascinating. It’s like having your own personal assistant who knows you better than anyone!
Suddenly, slowly but surely coming senior years of my life don't look that lonely. By the time I retire in 10-15yrs, this could be a game changer for seniors who can afford it. Keeping my fingers crossed. Go Elon!
You should know it's easy and hard to make that much profit. I say EASY because it's very possible to make that much, and Hard because you'll need professional assistance to do it, I'd suggest you get assisted by a market advisor.
I'm an advocate for having a diverse investment strategy. I grew to a 5 figure mark with my portfolio having exposure to different areas of the market, including small and large-caps of the ETF index, blue chip stocks, coins, grade bonds and alternatives like cryptocurrency markets, as this helps manage the overall risk on my portfolio managed by my FA.. Credits to my adviser, Jasper, i have no doubt investing more
I want a robot made by Dewalt or Yamaha to help me on my property, I can handle my laundry and dishes. I want a chainsaw arm attachment, leg and arm extenders to reach the roof, and a fence post hole digger attachment. It needs to work in the rain and be able to wrestle any big feet that wonder through.
Motion sensors for precision control are impressive. Do you think Optimus will be able to handle delicate tasks smoothly? I believe it has potential but needs fine-tuning.
there is no such thing as factory accident with a bot. If a bot gets crushed, just place another bot in its place. No issues. Bots being crushed is not the same as a safety issue as would be with a human. So, we should replace all humans wiht bots for safety.
Optimus' natural language processing is fascinating. How accurately do you think it will understand commands? I think it's promising but needs improvement.
Price of bot = one issue (+- $25,000?) Price of Teslabot SOFTWARE = ???????? You think people want Cybertrucks, wait till Teslabot gets released..! You will see human insanity to get them..!!!
Visual sensors for navigation are crucial for Optimus. Do you think it will navigate well in various lighting conditions? I have my doubts but hope for the best.
Just tell me how I can buy one and when they are available in UK. Can I work on it to be me in memory, experience and support my wife like I do as a carer. I’m saving to buy an Optimus and a Tesla 2 FSD. I need to get on a list!
At last my 2nd grader son can now have a playmate since we never have a child his age neighbor. As soon as the Open Mainnet of Pinet, i will surely want a grab of Optimus. I just hope my country allows it.❤
Check out 8:03, it says it s made to replace “cooking and mowing lawns “. Obviously there’s already an “autonomous mower” in this clip with…….. not even the “Tesla bot “ overseeing it. Lol. That “autonomous mower “ costs a fraction of the “Tesla bot”.
Reinforcement learning for improvement is smart. Do you think Optimus will be able to adapt quickly? I agree with the potential but worry about the speed of learning.
For me I would much rather have a tesla robot because I need a help around the house because I have several chronic illnesses and would save me time to hire out things like lifting, grass cutting, dog walking, house cleaning, house painting etc. I would love to be one of the first to get one. I wonder if the government would subsidise my disabilities? cant wait.
