Elphelt Has Me Nervous..

People complained about Noel the same way. Either Elphelt will get nerfed to the ground or people will get over it.

Learn the matchup (it´s not hating but you can counter the rekka with 5p or 6p, search hotashi videos about elphelt counterplay)

same way how season 1 ram was mash buttons = get wallbreak elphelt is mash buttons = get unreactable highlow mix

the only thing making el's pressure difficult to deal with is the overhead during rekka. it's the fastest ground overhead in the game rn iirc so if anything on her kit is going to be nerfed, it's going to be that however, with that in mind, if that does end up getting nerfed, she will also be getting a number of buffs, most likely to some of her normals and perhaps the S version of the rekka (to make sure the S rekka still combos into the rekka overhead) which have the very real potential to open up a lot of new methods of offense for her not sure what can be done about the stance drop into throw tho. that warrants further examination

@@kazaru8135 spamming 6p loses to grenade. You can beat grenade with jump grab, but the fact ur risking that unreactable 50/50 with jump grab or 6p is terrifying. Especially cuz she gets fullscreen wallbreak off literally any hit

YRC is a decent option too if she is spamming rekka. Her neutral seems like it struggles if you're high above her, she doesn't really have any antiairs that go straight up, besides jumping herself. That's based on my scrubby experience so far.

@@sauceinmyface9302 yes, but you still have to guess high/low on the hit and deflect doesn't care about that. Additionally, deflect doesn't stop the game for both players which is much more useful for catching elphelt pressing a button and since the H ender isn't disjointed, every character can punish it if it comes out after the deflected hit

Sorry should been more clear. In the corner after a knockdown, if you try to crossup with scarecrow you'll get same side onlu.

The cross up bug was only for specific situations, also I think they already fixed it in the latest patch.
