Els on Thabiso Ngcobo's attempted murder case 

Nine police officers arrested in connection with the attempted murder of a Durban businessman Thabiso Ngcobo have been granted R5 000 bail each.
Last month, Newzroom Afrika revealed that Ngcobo's car was forced off the road and sprayed with bullets.
Police at the time claimed it was a case of mistaken identity.
Institute for Security Studies' researcher and training coordinator Willem Els says the law is specific when it comes to lives being threatened and surroundings before police open fire.
"If police did not follow due procedure, they need to face the law," Els remarks.
