/ 2cellos / stjepanhauserofficial / lukasulicofficial Order the new album, In2ition, at Amazon (myplay.me/x87) and iTunes (myplay.me/x88) Sir Elton John talking about 2CELLOS Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser
Elton John is a showman first and always ... my mom said even when she met him in the sixties he was a diva but he knew how to put on a show. He knows how to create buzz ... he really is just a second incarnation of Liberace ... and believe me that's no slagging they both are brilliant performers and pianists but there are people that play their life all at higher levels that will never see the even 1% of the money he has made
I can tell these guys are classically trained, but their talent also lies in that they can combine so many different genres and they make it seem like it was always supposed to be. Love these guys! Love their enthusiasm and their talent at such an early age. Looking forward to seeing them for many years in the future!
I totally agree with you sir Elton, a Fellow Brit.... they are marvelous - BUT There is a family in England who I also adore and follow faithfully- the Kanneh Masons..... we are so lucky to be able to listen to such masterpieces
Bravo, momci! Tako mi je drago sa imamo fenomenalne i neverovatno obdarene muzičare sa ovih prostora, naše eks Jugoslavije, mada sam ja iz Srbije. Bravo!
They are absolutely incredible. I absolutely love them and everything they play. They can make you dance or cry. They play with so much passion. A fan for life 💙💙
Do they ever perform without needing to restring the bows? The best cello I have ever heard. They seem to be able to play anything from classic to unrestraned rock and make it sound like it was written only for them.
Nah, they destroy those bows - magnificently. Every piece probably needs a newly strung bow - dozens. Watching that horse hair snap with so much passion is part of the magic they let us indulge in. Years of loving the 2Cellos!! 👏🏽🏟🌏
much of what they play was written by them, they take a tune with a great melody or riff and rearrange it to suit the cello...we will be hearing much more from them of their own compositions in the future...they have already begun with "Celloverse"
These interviews were incredible snd very funny even though there wasn’t any translation to English 🐽. I was laughing just enjoying the interviews . Thank you 2 Cellos for sharing your joy snd talents continued love and success🥰🥰🥰🥰
"I can't remember seeing anything as exciting since I saw Jimi Hendrix at the Marquis Club in the '60s." - Sir Elton John That compliment carries the weight of 100 music critics (possibly more).
You, Sir, are, beside a thousand other amazing things, a true gentleman. Hat down. It was so incredibly nice of you to recognize their talent, invite them to your band and help them get even more recognition. You are most kind to praise and acknowledge these awesome young musicians so much. It is so lovely to see a true world class star who is so modest and real, down to earth, really. May you live a long and healthy life, Sir Elton John. Best Regards from Slovenia (Luka is Slovenian and this small nation is so proud of him, and also Stjepan, of course, who comes from Croatia).
@@vinkomir9964 don't spread disinformation or should I say lies, please. Luka Sulić is a Slovenian who was born to a Slovenian mother and a Croatian father and grew up in Slovenia, in Maribor. He has Slovenian citizenship and through his father also Croatian citizenship in addition. In Croatia, in Zagreb, he just continued his cello studies for a period of time. It is only fair to say that Luka has Croatian roots through his father, but he is not a Croat. He is Slovenian. Actually, he is both. ;)
@@vinkomir9964 Oh, so you have, personally? Come on... :) Anyway, I can imagine what he would say: "I am both Slovenian and Croatian, and I am none of that. It is irrelevant. I am a citizen of Earth". Nothing you, in perticular, but also I could ever say. We are nobodies in this sense, and Luka is well known throuout the World. ;) Only small people claim people and stuff for themselves, and the same goes for nations...
Nije ni čudo da je svet poludeo nakon EltonJohna za ovim momcima i njihovom nepresupnom energijom!!!! Bravo momci za vas i čaroliju koju ste stvorili na planetarnom nivou! 🌹🤗😃👏💋💖🙏🎶🍀💞🎶🎻🎶🎻🌼🕊️🤍🥰😇
2cellos enjoy what they do. They don't catch that professional bug where the love becomes a job. As long as they continue to enjoy what they do and not let it consume them, like so many careers do, they will be successful indefinitely.
he hasn't said anything that nobody else could've said. he's just a royal knight because he made so much influence and in accordance to that is a very useful freemasonic influencer. no big deal about freemasons, they simply wanna keep the ouroboros moving (and there is no good without the evil).
I call no man "sir". yet there are some who are just "Better". by thought, word, action. loved EJ (musically) back in the early 70s (as a child) love that music still. not so keen on his later writing (80s+, with the exception of The Lion King - more to do with the feline subject matter than anything else lol) but EJ just strikes me as a fine human being, from any interview I've seen with him - few as they are. that he gave these 2croation fellas a boost, just because they're good (VERY good), puts yet another shining feather in his hat. he's a lovely man (I type, as I sit here, snapping my teeth at a irritating wee fly flitting between me & my PC screen. i'm sure EJ is pleased a thing somewhere between a protohuman & a cat thinks he's a decent fella LMAO)
The standing ovation ... I saw these guys in UT a couple of years ago, and after the first couple of songs - which were classical - as they moved on to rock, the audience stood ... and never sat down again. Myself included! I've never been to a concert with so much energy from both performers and audience in my life. And I'm old! By far, the best I'd ever attended. It was a night I will remember for a very long time, and I hope to repeat again in the future. Rock on, guys ... you are absolutely amazing!
I love 2Cellos they are amazing and super talented...And everyone says they've never seen anything like them, true...Are these people not aware that Apocalyptica have been rocking Cellos since the mid 1990s and are still rocking them to this day?
I hope the 2 cellos see this interview. To have someone like Elton john sing your praise is one of the highest honors in music enough to make most musicians cry.
it's interesting that he calls it "homo-erotic" but without a sexual aspect. I can see that. Music is so sensual and emotional. It is responsive. it has a give and take and flow, and is actually quite erotic in a way. i appreciate how he as allowed me to see a new definition of "erotic."
These two are really great!!! They bring more energy in their performances and that is what makes them better then Apocalyptica. I'm glad that Someone like Elton Jhon spotted them and gave them words they deserve.
Elton had the foresight to seek them out to be in his band, it shows his genius as a musician. I'm not a HUGE Elton John fan, I do like a lot his music, but his writing abilities are second to none, he IS a genius melody writer, equally said for Bernie Taupin for his lyrics.
You could not have described it better Elton!!!! They woke me up when I looked up the song for Schlindler's List and was blown away by the other links to the right of my page! They are the whole eclipse of music from classical to Rock and Roll and beyond~
Peter Petelski yes me as well my friend I used to listen to some Elton growing up but not for a long time now but yes he speaks the truth and everyone's children needs love and compassion
It's what music does to you, not sexuality. When you watch Gary Moore shredding, and the ecstacy it paints on his face is the same thing, and that's just him on his own with his guitar.
Exactly. Nothing homosexual as such but the raw and nearly sexual energy of a two people so in tune with each other. A homophonic relationship that drags feelings from the depths of the erotic senses at your core.
I love classical and heavy metal music. I love Apocalyptica because I love Metallica. I love 2 Cellos because I love AC/DC and I love both because mostly love seeing the combination of old and modern music mixed together in a whole new way. Outstanding!
You don't even have to enjoy listening to Elton John's music to see he's one of the nicest men in the business. Every time he notices talent, he gives it the adulation and respect it deserves. Massive props to him, and huge kudos to 2Cellos too for accepting his praise.
Even when they play traditional classical music, they pour their heart and soul into it and it always sounds MAGNIFICENT. I love 2CELLOS! Luka and Stjepan, you guys rock!
And how humble Elton John is just makes him that much more and better of a person, truly look up to these kinds of qualities. 2Cellos and Elton John are not only beautiful musicians, but gorgeous beings. I love you both and am inspired by you
They are amazing. Classical music with a twist.....I love that you can be so honest about who you are.... We always need new ... Your excitement is so wonderful... I love that about you...Time to embrace the young that can......
I am 76 grewup with rock 🎸 they are great but I absolutely adore the classical music he really is out of this world I thank you for letting me enjoy your passion .May it continue 🙏
Elton John's use of the term homoerotic is incomplete. They go beyond that. The connection literally feels like a psychic/empathic connection when they play. The connection is just that complete. They, in my opinion, surpass even the great Jimi Hendrix in brilliance.
Great music has no color, no gender, no race, no religion, no agenda, no politics! It's just good as hell, no matter who you are! Music brings us together!
I love you both 2Cello Fantastic thank God for the Internet I probably would’ve never been blessed to see them and to hear them and to feel their music thank you guys🎻🎼💯🎯💥💋👌💫👑🎻🎼❤️🌺🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
I agree with you Sir Elton John, they are amazing, so talented and are going places, I am desperate to see them live, it will be such a rush. Love them big time ❤️❤️❤️
+Levi Rivaille Heichou With all due respect, but in my opinion Lindsey Stirling isn't that good a violinist. Sure, she's flashy and she does her own thing and by all means, she's made a name for herself by doing that, but from a pure skill point of view, she's not outstanding. Good, very good, but nothing special.
