Well, summertime is over and so, as promised, I’m back with another cover version.
My very first Elton John vinyl record was a „Greatest Hits compilation“ and „Little Jeannie“ was my favorite song besides „Daniel“. It’s hard for me to understand why Elton so rarely performed this great love song live, although it was really successful in the US charts. I tried to do my best and hope you like it ;-)
Btw: There's a little SURPRISE waiting at the end - so don't switch off too early ;-)

Nun, der Sommer ist vorbei und wie versprochen melde ich mich mit einer weiteren Coverversion zurück. Meine allererste Elton John-Vinylplatte war eine „Greatest Hits Compilation“ und darauf war „Little Jeannie“ neben „Daniel“ mein Lieblingssong. Es ist für mich schwer zu verstehen, warum Elton dieses großartige Liebeslied so selten live spielte, obwohl es in den US-Charts richtig erfolgreich war. Ich habe mein Bestes gegeben und hoffe, dass es euch gefällt ;-)
Übrigens: Am Ende wartet eine kleine ÜBERRASCHUNG - also nicht zu früh abschalten ;-)
