This is one of the very best folk metal band ever. They are from Switzerland. Being big in there niche they are very big. Love them

Eluveitie are pretty big in Europe and North America when they tour the world it takes up to 2 years yes its a full-time gig PURE FUCKING FOLK METAL

"Big" is always a question of perspective... within the Folk Metal Scene they are considered to be among the top groups and they are all full time musicians, altought some of them are playing in different projects also. They discribe their music as "Deathfolk".

Hello from Germany! The band comes from Switzerland and it's about Celtic mythology. And about the most important Celtic goddess, the mother goddess Anu. The origin of the Celts is the Near East, the Alpine region, and the Balkans! The war horns in the beginning were very feared by the Romans! When they sounded they were very afraid! First of all, they are from Switzerland! The name is pronounced El-Vay-Tee. Their sound is celtic folk metal. Not all their songs are this heavy, try their song Call of the mountain or their song breathe
