I'm beginning to think Anna quitting Eluveitie was a great thing. The new singer is rather good and is a great replacement for Anna. Also Anna went and formed Cellar Darling which is also a great band. So with Anna's departure, we kept one great band and got another great band.

Metal has branched out stronger then any other genre of music. Metal is the best music today.

For people complaining,this is an acoustic album...So yes of course there will be some heavy songs in the future ! Calm down everyone,and for morons saying they've gone pop,they've gone acoustics,that what we call it. Its a great idea for releasing content during a member changing event

Evocation II is an acoustic Album they will release an metal album later ! People Who says " they have become pop " are not fans they don't know that they Released Evocation I in 2009 ...

The voice of the new vocalist is really nice :) And the song is way more catchy after you listen to it for a few times. I enjoy it a lot.

What I love about the fandom of Eluveitie that sooo many are so thrilled about Fabienné and don't dispise her like other fandomes did with new singers. I loved Anna's voice, but Fabienné is such a good singer which made me realy like the new songs and the "tone" of them.

Yes there's no scream, yes it's less metal, but people saying this is not Eluveitie... WTF?! in the fucking first second i heard this i was like '' this is from de deepest of Eluveitie...''

Really nice follow up to Epona, i can't wait for the album.

She sings beatifully no matter what you think of Eluveitie now. I think they will do fine, I hope the same for Cellar Darling and I think they will do fine aswell.

I hear people are complaining that this is pop (lol) cause it's not heavy? This album is a sequel to Evocation, their acoustic album, of course it's not going to be heavy. Stop trying to make an excuse to hate the member change, this is great so far.

The ancient ones are back and we can feel it and hear it. That is why they are appearing everywhere in our modern culture. They are being honored and loved once again. Their ways are not forgotten.

This is incredible. Shows music is universal. An ancient language that only a dozen people know yet, it is still amazing.

I just love Fabienne. She has such a great voice, and her beauty is beyond words. The band did well with her.

i'm a fan of them since the first album and i like the loud albums, but i think THIS song describes eluveities style as a folk metal band at its purest and most impressive core...i love it

I like how even in their acoustic songs, their drummer goes hard as hell. If they even decided to make a metal version, he probably would barely change his parts.

Well, releasing something different after a big lineup change is an intelligent move. This is Eluveitie, the folk side is what many of us love and this is an album full of it, is something great to receive and must be appreciated.

I thought Eluveitie was dead when I heard that Anna Murphy was leaving the group. The news kind of shattered me as they are my favourite metal band. Well, I'm very happy to say that Epona and Lvgvs proved me wrong, very wrong. I'd been waiting for Evocation II to be released. This is everything I expected and more. The song Epona has been in my head for an entire week now. Thank you so much. Your new singer rocks. You'd better keep making music until I go deaf!

"Eluveitie goes pop" comments gave me cancer of aids. Not being a fanboy, but why someone would be : 1 - Pretending to be long time fans, and not seeing or enjoying the variety of production in music that ChrigEluveitie delivers. 2 - Expecting screams or metal riffs on Evocation II 3 - Spending time to comment instead of listening to Evocation I

she did a good job. it was unexpected from her to fill the gap that anna left but she did. metal isn't always brutal and noisy it can be melodic and calm as well. it is all about art. grow up guys

For the anecdote the melody come from a Breton song create in 1929 by two young farmers, named "son ar chistr" ( "song of cider" in Breton language) :).

Band releases acoustic album -> Mindless haters say they've gone pop... really? Learn to have some musical sense. This album is pure folk, now if folk is popular music in your country that's your problem (I acknowledge that folk is not the same everywhere, for example in Portugal, folk is as bad as it gets, not the same for other northern countries for sure) just don't come and call it pop for the sake of it.

I love that she has a similar but different style and sound in her voice so that she doesn't stray too far from that of Anna's singing. Nightwish had to make changes after Tarja left and Anette was okay but Floor amazingly compliments the band much better just as Fabienne does for Eluveitie. Amazing song.
