❤ from india! I cant understand shit but i still love eluviete! Love the way they've amalgamated folk instruments with metal.. Who else is listening to this in quarantine?
In this performance they sound as though they aren't correctly tuned with each other. Or perhaps Anna had some kind of vocal problem there. But they usually sound really good in the rest of the live videos.
It is of course that Anna's voice wouldn't be able to reach high tones: just look at the height where the microphone is! It is a big problem not to be able to move the head up and down when we are singing songs that there is need to do high and low tones. However, the band is still great.
i have seen these guys 7 times so far i even went to 70000 tons of metal this year just to see these guys. They by far were one of the best shows. I hope to go to a festival in the next 2 years to see them play at a large show.

@Kuifstaartje me too! Eluveitie is amazingly unique. They keep a thousands-year old tradition alive with great music. One of the best, if not the best, in folk metal.
You got no clue. In America, we love Metal, Musicians, and all of us are from somewhere else. Me, Scotland, England, Wales. I guess you could call me a Celtic-American!! We in America are what catapulted The rolling Stones, Led Zepplin, and other bands to mega-greatness, and both those bands used mandolins as well as sitars, and other "folk" instruments. 1960's thru today, America loves the traditional as well as the new.
i have never been to an Eluveitie show where they weren't giving their all in a performance no matter if it was the start of a tour or if the show i was at was near the end of one.Can't wait till they come through with Varg and Wintersun this year hope Varg does the song that anna played on !

@salsaestonia Yup. The artists themselves many times wear earplugs, if they know what's good for them. Especially those with loud amps just for sake of it.

Anna's voice IMPROVED, you mean. A voz da Anna MELHOROU, você quer dizer. Eu tb já vi ao vivo e ela é incrível. só não sei como você viu em 2014 se nesse ano eles não vieram ao Brasil. Só se você viu fora.
@SkelanimalKitteh I can speak a little bit of german, but can understand it better then speaking it myself. i'm dutch, and german is quite similar to dutch. he's asking them if they want to learn some Gaulish. he's learning them three words: "nata wipie curmida" ( or howerver you spell it), witch means: "beautiful woman bring me a beer!"
I disagree, I'm American and this band got me back into metal. This band is the most interesting thing to happen to metal in the longest time! (that's my humble opinion, not saying it's right)
Im happy to not be one of the Americans, I love Folk Metal period. Ive seen Eluveitie once and gonna see em again with Wintersun next week. Love their music and all the instruments thay play and the way it comes together to make this badass sound \m/
Could someone tell me what kind of metal is this? I'm not used to this kind of music and when i discovered this band i can't stop listening to them!! Also it would be very usefull if someone tell me if there are any other bands like eluveitie.. Sorry for my english.
@SkelanimalKitteh I think its in Gaullish, I wouldnt worry about not knowing it, barely anbody does. The bloke at the start speaks GErman, which is pretty much the same as Englissh to my ears.
