To me, Elvis is the epitome of handsome, head to toe. I have never seen any man that comes close. Then you add that voice and personality, nothing better.
Seriously? He was a LOT of things, but humble was NOT one of them. He took himself WAY too seriously. So much so that he took drugs constantly so he could continue touring for his adoring fans and to take care of everyone he thought depended on him. I'm not trying to put him down. But let's not venerate the guy. He was a very talented guy who lost his way in show biz, got hooked on opioids, which killed him. Sad story, but let's not make him a Saint.
@@paulschooping5421 I kinda feel like you inferred deification from the word “gift”. Elvis “was a LOT of things” that’s true, but one of the many reasons he’s respected was because of his southern self-effacing naive nature. He grew into more of a drug induced parody of himself by the late 70’s, but I feel like you’re really not appreciating one of the most likable aspects of the man by going directly to the end of his life.
Yes, he was. I like in 68 special when he's with his old band mates n he tells the crowd gonna do one more # n then they gotta go n the crowd Aww,s n Elvis yells, Hey, I just work here! 😂
@@nickfree46 its The Red White & Blue , the nuts & bolts , the faith , his undeniable love for family. The last song, "If I Can Dream" I'm petioning the white house for the song to become. " Americas Song " You know he never commented about another artist , or his political views . The song IICD. Was in fact his national cry for unity .for wars to stop .he was so moved by the loss of MLK, Bobby Kennedy & the Vietnam war. The massive loss of life due to the war . he waa entirely drained . he made more of an impact on me with that single song. As I say The Red White & Blue of his SOULSHINE . I encourage all his fans to help me on my quest about IICD . I've sent 2 texts to Biden .and sent lengthy text to EPE.
Elvis has to be one of the most sexiest men of all time . He’s perfect in every way , and I just wish I could of had the pleasure of seeing him perform . He was a blessing to all his fans . God bless you Elvis Presley .
Awsome even with the bloopers. . There will never be anyone like Elvis. That little lip curl thing made him cuter if that was possible. Still listening in 2020,, and love his laugh and sense of humor. What a entertainer. The best of all time, Elvis Presley.
Elvis looking perfect! Handsome, sexy, great sense of humor and that voice!Oh how I miss him.He was truly a gift to the world and he is still moving people to this day.
Now, here is something to watch; a pure gem! First of all Elvis never looked better but to see him having such good time is wonderful. He truly had a terrific sense of humor and then there is that laughter of his that is simply infectious! Watching him makes one smile and brings you so much joy. Thanks for posting
Well, it's two years latter, and your comment says it all. I just came here to forget today, and remember back to, as a child, seeing this on tv. This ''super hero'' (because those were the only terms a 5 year old could find to describe this vision) made my parents so happy. It was like seeing him made my parents into kids again. Even if I had no real grasp of music at that age- my body understood, and (for once) my parents didn't try to stop me going berserk in our living room to the growl in his voice and the thrill of his power. At the first commercial, I asked ''Who is he, mama''. She smiled and said, '' He is The King, son'!''. O.K. NOW I was really hooked. ''The King'. Wow. When it was over, I expected him to leap into the sky and fly away, some Southern Superman named ''The King''. By the time of the '73 Aloha show, I was old enough to understand and was set for the next 50 years of letting my spirit be lifted anytime I saw or heard him. '''Cause every time I hear him, Lawd, it takes me home''-Raised On Rock
@@westsidesmitty1 You described it so well...the gift of Elvis that sent us our Lord for a little while....I feel the same,Elvis can make me forget every bad thing....Thank you, dear Elvis for everything. RIP,DEAR ELVIS.🎼🎶💗♥️
I was born in 1966, but I have always LOVED Elvis. No other man in the world is as Good-looking as him. He has it all... his voice, his hair, his eyes, his grin, his twitchy lip, and shaking legs, no one can come close to Elvis. That man makes my heart thump. ❤️💕
I fell in love with Elvis when I was 7, and was born in '75. My mother was always a huge fan, and that's how I was introduced to his music. He sure had "IT" and no one compares.
He was nervous when he first started to do this show. He at first told them he wasn’t coming out. The producer told him he had to at least come out and say hi I’m too nervous to do this so thsnks for coming. He was ok then he came out avd ran till they were almost out of film.
I saw this live on television and he was the most beautiful thing that this seventeen-year-old had EVER seen and nothing has changed there.. what an absolute doll inside and out .. GOD BLESS ELVIS PRESLEY...
Elvis was concerned if he be forgotten in a few years. Well, 43 years later many are still all shook up watching this amazing talent that is still shaking the world with his God gifted talent. I don't know of anyone ever that has this staying power this alone speaks volumes about his appeal.
just love these bloopers- Elvis was a sexy man with great humor what an infectious laugh. Just love his smile their is no one that compares, thank you for sharing.
I watched the 68' comeback special on tv with my mother and some sisters. That black leather outfit was spectacular on Elvis but he really didn't need it. He could have come out wearing any suit or Jean's because it didn't matter, Elvis will always be Elvis. I love the man and miss him dearly, but he's having a great time in heaven with God!
He was, extremely talented, musically, very handsome, but his sense of humor, was priceless, a very nice, generous man, and very religious, too, He was, the Total package, for any woman, Super Nice Guy !!
Elvis did have a great sense of humour. I have never seen Elvis's funny side before. I've only seen Michael Jackson's funny side, Donny Osmond's funny side and Adam Lambert's funny side but not Elvis's. I could watch Elvis's funny moments all day and all the time.
It's 2022 - and he's still the cutest 🥰 even his mistakes are perfect - and him being kind about them. I'd imagine other stars would just get all diva and upset
It was great to see this video, Elvis had the greatest smile, and his laughter, and quirky sense of humour never fails to make me laugh.. That so good looking man,is gone now,, but we can still see you Elvis, and won't forget you,
Simple music can make you sing simple hug can make you feel better simple things can make you happy, i hope my simple Hello brings smile to your face,,,
I am forever grateful to my parents. They took me and my little brother to see Elvis in May 1977. I was 10 years old. We got to see one of his last concerts before he passed. I will never forget that concerts. I remember ever ly second of that concert. It was an emotional evening. And I would of never thought that just 3 months after I saw him live that he would die. He is a one of a kind. There will never be another artist like him. Nor was there ever one before him. I want to thank my parents for that wonderful gift. My brother and I were the last generation that got to see him in concert before he passed.
Tuesday August 16 1977. 6 o'clock news. I was 20 years old and could not absorb what my ears where listening to. * In 7 years they will read his autopsy report publicly. August 16 2027 ( not that it matters how ) The King is gone.
@@alvinscott1663 whyre you asking people where theyre chatting from? youtube isnt the place to do it. theres literally thousands of people in this comment section doing it I think your a bot.
I saw this the night it first was on TV. I was 16 at the time, and it was just after the death of my Mother, my foster parents were very religious, never used the TV, and I had no idea Elvis was on. I came home from my after school job at A&W Root Beer, it was a very cold rainy night, mom put that TV on and had everyone fed and in bed. I had no clue what was about to happen when she told me goodnight for the evening. Just as she left the room, there was a knock at the door, she told me to answer it, something kids were never allowed to do. Standing there was a very wet guy from school that I had known since we were about 4, he had walked over two miles in that weather to watch Elvis for his first time. We never spoke a word, and he left as soon as Elvis stopped singing. This boy was very shy and never spoke to me in school either, but after school he called me about once a week, before and after my mom's demise. I never told anyone about our friendship, until the late '90's, no one would have believed me, and we never spoke of that night again until about 2014, but it's still one of my best memories I will ever have.
I do not know why but I could watch him every day . Everything he did was strangely attractive . His movements, his appearance, his voice, his humor. He was an amazing man . My wife doesn't like it . I'll probably change it))) Elvis should never die . It was the best on this planet. Jesus will give us Elvis and we'll give you Justin Bieber and 100 others.
I don’t know what Elvis had, I loved first ABBA, Then Elvis came, then John Travolta came, then Elvis came again, then Bon Jovi and Cliff Richard. Then Elvis came again. But no one can moves me more than Elvis. I think I’m having “The Elvis fever”, but I’m not complaning, he’s perfect. My husband also don’t like him. Guess I have to take him also to Graceland. The love for Elvis seemed to get stronger and stronger each time I look at that great face and hear that wonderfull voice.
Anita Jetten I no, I get so sad sometimes knowing he isn't here any more. It's strange isn't it. The way I feel about him is like nothing else. It's unexplainable 🌹
@@leslieweger3586 i was born 3 years AFTER he died in June of 80. I was raised on Elvis' music....i love it. My now yr old LOVES Elvis too. All my kids love Elvis. Lol just raising my kids right lol

Hi from England After 8 years being away from LIVE performance this 68 comeback special was so ICONIC. I believe Steve Binder is making another documentary about this and the book has been updated with forward by BAZ to connect to the film which i have bought. ELVIS was AND STILL IS AN ENIGMA

Elvis was the best looking man of the universe. Who else got the looks like. Elvis. Not only looks he had a golden voice. No matter what song it was. Nobody could sing it better than. Elvis. No wonder WOMEN did not fight for this guy....any women would understand that another women would want to do it with Elvis. My God so, so, so handsome!
Flawless 1968 memories for Infinity. It's devastating 8 years later would be the last appearance in real time. Thanks to RU-vid and past devices of recording we can rewind 24/7 365. Great Post
Elvis Presley is so handsome I could watch this and all other videos of him all day I wish that he was here so he could see how the fans on the internet adore him. The young Elvis or the older Elvis make no difference to me I would have him any way that I could Elvis truly was a GEM. The longer he is gone the more you wish for him and watching him on RU-vid it is like you can feel his SPIRIT. I LOVE YOU ELVIS 3-25-2019
Thank you so much for these bloopers. I have been searching for them. I was lucky enough to see Elvis in concert at the International Hotel back in1970. He was so handsome and sexy and we couldn't take our eyes off him. His voice was smooth as silk and he gave the audience everything he had. I never got over his death and we lost such a very unique, generous, funny but oh so talented petson. He was an amazingly humble man regardless of his success and I think he would be shocked at how many people still miss him to this day, 42 years later.
