Priscilla Presley was married to the late musician Elvis Presley from 1967 to 1973. The couple met in 1959, when Priscilla was 14 years old and Elvis was 24. They began dating when Priscilla was 15, and Elvis proposed to her on Christmas Eve 1966. They were married in a private ceremony at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 1, 1967. They had one child together, a daughter named Lisa Marie Presley. Despite their age difference, the couple reportedly had a strong relationship, but the marriage was strained by Elvis's infidelities and his career demands. They separated in 1972 and their divorce was finalized on October 9, 1973.
