Hard to believe its 10 years already!!. I recall watching Elvis nailing this performance like it was yesterday. My wife was in the bath at the time and and I shouted out to her; Luvy, here`s the winner of Idols 2010 !!

SO I HOPE YOUR CANDLE WILL BURN BRIGHT AND ENDLESS IN THIS WORLD AND U GO ON LIGHT UP THIS DARK WORLD WITH YOUR BEAUTIFUL MUSIC U MAKE. PS I'M YOUR BIGGEST FAN. LEE
Pity that one has to enter this type of compitition to gain fame. Amazing voice, amazing piece of Guitar work also. As much as I loath the fellow on the right side of the judges chair, yes Elvis Blue should take his advice in this instance. Good also that the peopleof the World and Idols competion makers are taking music to the levels of how music should be when pop, rock and call it what you like, where really good. 70`s music still rocks. I think we have a winner. Record Co`s..." stock up"
Well done Elvis Blue. I have to agree with Mara to an extent, in that a lot of people in South Africa still vote according to race. Having said that, L'loyd Cele's fans on facebook were of all colours. Did Elvus Blue have many black fans? I don't know because I am a fan of L'loyd's.
Oh well. I still think his career is going to soar after this. The winners of these competitions don't always have the longest/most successful music careers of the competitors. That has been proved before. I'd buy his CD.
@bobb764: voted out? Now that is very interesting. At the moment he is in the Top 9. Is it possible for someone to be voted out and still be IN the top 9? I'm not EXACTLY sure, but I'm pretty sure. Jan has a very good chance of winning the competition. Even if he doesn't - his career has already taken off. He is an astounding singer.
