I’ve seen the video you did with this gentleman at the Cash house. He’s so great with details. What a guy! I love this. He loves it like you do. You can tell how details are important to him! That’s so cool to me. The reason I say that is cause for me details are important. When I worked in the IT my boss gave me bonuses that others didn’t get cause she said I could handle details in learning the jobs. I was a software trainer as one of my jobs there in IT. Lol so details are important to me too.
Barbara private I just like watching yr great clips when I'm sad and lonely ok and after awhile I brighten up because you make my day something special thanks billy
Wow interesting! So much work to put all These pieces like he did. Deserves an honor that Fine man! Importent work for Next generations! Elvis was /is bigger than we all can Imagine Now .
Old souls becoming guru’s of their passion. This is the true legacy of Elvis, people like this. So much I’m gonna have to watch a couple of more times. What fans gave Elvis never wore out with him. After he got all the things money could buy, it was the audience and fans he still loved the most. I feel the biggest miss in promoting Elvis today is his giving heart. It gave him joy to see people light up and be happy. Like the lady looking at a Cadillac. Bam! It’s yours. A day of fun to Elvis. If I were running things ( which means nothing) I’d be giving cars away in Twitter, Graceland it someway. But in a whimsical way, not plotted. Elvis would like that. I think he would say “ your making plenty, be more giving, trust me it feels good. Awesome job Billy! BTW I love your intro jingle. Upbeat to the point and not too long. Perfect!
So glad that he was able to save some of the Elivs history and Colonel Tom Parker's house and fan club . I shared this with my husband . He told me a story about when he was growing up , him and his parents went by to see Johnny Cash's house . They pulled over and my father in law picked a rock that was sitting next to Johnny Cash's fence . So he has a little piece of history too . I think that's neat that my husband has been down that road before too . Thank you for sharing this great video with us Spa Guy .
Brian you are a true fan. Many times I will make light talk about Elvis to people waiting to pay their food / goods in a store line up & the response so many times the person will respond they really are one of his fans. 3 weeks ago or so found out a lady neighbour is a big Elvis fan. Even been to a concert ( I'm talking about the Vancouver BC area ) Was giving out gospel tracts a few years ago & this lady who took one told me she's a big Elvis fan. On back of the tract I wrote : You Tube Elvis gospel . There are so so many fans of Elvis still today. So many we would be amazed. The other day watching NHL hockey the hockey tv guy said he is an Elvis fan ...& Guess Who as one guy from that band sang before the game. The fans are out there still by the millions. Elvis the guy who loved to entertain his fans. 98% of his concerts had that personal touch. He talked / connected with his fans in the audience & he was driven to make sure the fans left happy & were entertained. That they got their money's worth. Elvis gospel songs WOW. The guy was not in love with fame or money. He was in love to give $ rings cars away...& in love with singing. Who does 1-2 concerts & afterwords wants to sing in his hotel suite for a few hrs around a piano ???? Only Elvis.Humble but ultra famous. Simple but ultra talented. Country boy to owning planes cars mansion...and yes when he sang gospel in his concerts. What mega star does that? He was not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. He had on stage so many should knew The Lord as well. Nice vid as always by the Elvis detective historian Spa Guy
God bless you (spa guy) and Brian and his wife. I LIVE for history and am completely fascinated with Elvis so these videos just make my day! I thank God for people like you guys who have a deep appreciation for history and preservation. I don't know what I'd do without it 💙
Hi Billy.brian.wow so much research you have both done.cant tell you how much I have enjoyed watching this tonight.absolutly amazing.preserving all this is so beautiful.i like you lots Billy.real humble guy.my hero .have a great weekend my friend.hi Lori. 🇬🇧 Uk.
Another great history lesson. Your work and research amazes me I must say. We are so lucky you are documenting this history about the man we all loved and still do. There will never be another Elvis that's for sure but thanks to you Billy generations of fans not born yet will have some wonderful video history to fall back on. I know you say "tighten up" and I like that. I enjoyed this series so much I am gonna leave you with my saying "Keep on keeping on" my friend!
Thanks to Brian for allowing us into his Collection. He saved some amazing things. He should charge admission! Thanks SG for hosting this!! Man you have exceeded expectations. Wasn't sure what I was going to see on your channel, but your guests are top notch man. Glad I sub'd. Gotta catch up on your previous stuff. Looking forward to the Johnny Cash videos.
Mr. Spa Guy love the Elvis trivia and your connecting the dots. So glad you investigate for the history and not the money which is sadly the driving thing with many. Lord bless. Tighten up back at you.
This is sweet ty sooo much and i love it when you said there is only one king .....god boy billy keep on doing what you do your great if elvis was with us im 100% you would get the TCB cause you sure do ty
Hi Billy, saw a video on RU-vid where this man by the name of Nathaniel Wigginson said he was drafted into the Army with Elvis Presley and he seems to have good stories about Elvis and his mom Gladys Presley, Mr. Wigginson was born and raised in Memphis TN and he is still living in Memphis, just in case you are interested in possibly interviewing him..
I seen that, it sounds as if he's got some sweet memories of Gladys as well and we're losing folks like him everyday and their taking their memories with them. EPE should be documenting, backing and promoting all the stories these folks have to tell before it's too late. Elvis history needs people like you Billy. This would be an awesome interview. Let me see if I can find a link for you.
Polly Anna , thank you for posting the link, hopefully Billy can interview him, because you are right, real stories like his will be lost forever once people like him are gone..
Thank you for sharing this. I hope they're able to use this to preserve fan club history. I'd like to join a legitimate Elvis fan club if there is one.
I''m from the Netherlands (Holland) thats right Delfts Blauw ( Delfts Blue) and Delft is a old city.Older buildings mainly farms have in the kichen and fire place chimney in the house the Delfts blue wall tiles.
Yes I have been to Delft just outside of Rotterdam.. The royals are buried under the church that was completed in 1325.. It was Amazing History.. This is the video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-c-2rJx0aprA.html
Hi Billy, love your videos and appreciate all the work you put in! Could you please give them titles a few seconds more ? You have some fans overseas, too and it's not always easy to get the content or hints for non native speakers. Keep up the great work! Greetings from Germany.
Wow, what will happen to all this after Brian passes? It takes a very dedicated and special fan to document and protect all this, and we fans aging fast.
really? where and when will you be playing? I wasn't aware there was a tour. Is it with a fanclub? Perhaps you can share some info or website and I will check it out! thanks
Spa Guy I am so glad that I subscribed to your channel because you give the real stories with the real people most of the Productions like the HBO special really didn't dig into the real truth of Elvis and its history I think the HBO special was more lest a glorified Priscilla face it everybody got their cut including Jerry and don't ask me why Bruce Springsteen's and the late Tom Petty were chosen couldn't they get anybody else with better credentials that's right mostly all the Memphis Mafia is no longer living so Priscilla can tell it anyway she wants.....
Hi Spa Guy, great wrap-up video. Questions...When does Brian expect this project to be completed? Will fans be able to tour this? Regarding the Elvis Tour 2018... Is there anyone we know that will be touring with you? Thank you!
Dea, I am touring with Bob Lanning the drummer in 1970 he played about 65 shows and also played on some major hits, The Wonder of You, Polk Salad Annie and More.. Also with Jim Murray.. He was with the Imperials with Elvis from 1969 to 1972.. He was on many records and is the high voice behind Elvis on Suspicious Minds.. He has not said about touring it but I imagine it could be arranged..
Wow how exciting for you to be with Elvis' band members! It's terrible of me since I should know of these guys but I don't recall their names so I will look them up tonight...because I need to know! LOL...Are you going to have a video of your tour and also bring us any Elvis information that you learn on the tour? I hope so... I wish we could see it live. ...BTW...I have been reading information on the Oxley's. They are amazing and very nice people from what I have read so far. Good luck on your tour and take good care!
They should build a large maybe a 1/24 scale model of this house if possible or even be able to build a full size replica of both the house and the can club building in the future to at least try to preserve the history for generations to come.
Oh my gosh a pond with fish. Maybe at some point he was going to put fish in his pond at Graceland. Who knows ? That’s funny he had a pond with fish at the colonels house. Oh wow! He was always up to something.
The house was up for sale for many years and no one bought it as a tourist attraction so it was sold to a company who tore it down and built a carwash..
Laura, In the early years he would go stay with the Colonel when recording in Nashville.. I also have some evidence that Elvis was there in the early 60's as well.. There was a bedroom in the house he would stay in and a house across the bridge he would stay in too..
Spa Guy I was gonna ask why he walked across that bridge. I guess that answers my question. Do have a video on that house? Didn't the Cornell live in mephis??
Spa Guy that's my fault mr spa guy! My English is bad ...I could explain it in German but I saw your bad nauheim video and think that you maybe have trouble again to understand what I meant with what I wrote. Not important anyway and if it makes no sense what I said before don't think about it because it's about the language... Sorry
Brad, For it's time is was very nice.. Large too.. I'm am in Holland right now and I noticed that the construction of the house is very similar to Dutch construction I think that is why he chose that house.. He in later years lived in Las Vegas...
