Ryan does an outstanding job impersonating Elvis Presley. He pours EVERY ounce of his soul into making his performance as realistic as possible. Pelton even looks like Presley. He's got the look...the dance moves...he's Elvis Presley. Honestly, I wasn't a big Elvis fan either but I did like several of his songs. The songs and types of music that all of us listen to today is because of Elvis Presley. Ryan Pelton does an excellent job of keeping that part of music history alive.
I’m usually super critically about impersonators, cover bands, etc. but I think this guy is really good. The closest to Elvis that I have seen or heard. 🌹
Nice sound, nice look. Some of those songs are amazingly Elvis like. People, we will not ever have a perfect Elvis tribute artist. This is not an easy gig. But, Ryan does an excellent job at it.
I don't brag on much of these kind of guys impersonating the Legend, but Ryan Pelton Is Worth Bragging On! I met him many times and every time he new me and my mother by name! He is Truly an humble person behind the stage! Many Blessings Ryan! Keep Rockin! Ken
My mother and I just finished watching a movie called "The Identical" It was a really good, GREAT Movie! We figured out that it was Ryan Pelton who plays Ryan Wade and Drexal Hemsley. We were so happy to find out after calling that it was him acting in it. We've seen him before in "Legends" in Las Vegas, NV. Go see him if you get the chance.
I was shocked how well you have done, I am a man who almost cried when I had seen the movie, brother you have a god given talent! Use it don't lose it bud!!
This is why Elvis is as BIG as an icon that he is .... It's cus he looked and sounded like an Elvis .... There will never be another Elvis ... There are Only two kings ... and I'm the other one :)
Wow - I can't believe how many rude people on here have made insulting, negative and hurtful comments about this man, who is working hard to make a living as an Elvis impersonator, and does a very good job of it. I can only assume it's because you people are envious that you can't perform. Pathetic bunch of nasty boors.
i should say the best two i have ever saw has been ryan pelton and shawn barry...because they are and will be the best in my eyes...the king would love to see them live his music...
Jon corner. God bless his soul. Who never performed live in person nor actualy claimed to be Elvis is the best I've ever heard. For a man in his seventies Jon ...well. Jon is who he was. Let's just say that. And I enjoy listening to recordings by Jon.
You mean Jon Cotner? Damn auto correct. Yes you do mean Jon Cotner. That damn auto correct always changing people's words when you don't want them to. And I agree with you. He doesn't try to talk or sing like Elvis, he just does. I also notice some of his stories about Elvis, how does he know personal things about Elvis when the stories he tells about him we're never put out to the public?
Dude you are amazing! Big fan! Hope to come to Brandon soon to see this live! I have a friend who has seen and met him and she said he's amazing! And she's seen a lot of Elvis impersonators ans she said he's the best by far! 😍😍
WOW this guy is sooooo GOOD!!! Yes there is only 1 Elvis ..... but cmon this guy ROCKS!!! Go watch THE IDENTICAL ... Great Movie ... he acts in it and he's SUPER... Very Talented!!!!
never ever be no one like elvis but why do people take time to listen then past bad comment if its no ur thing why hang around. Ryan Pelton seems to be doing well loved his movie
I've seen him live The best thing next to Elvis You people don't know what you are talking about Ryan Pelton is the original impersonator and by the way he has a movie that us coming out in September It's called The Identical Can't wait to see it :)))
This guy is a joke. Elvis would be embarrassed if he heard this joker. The guy can move / dance that's for sure but he cant sing for shit. Maybe he should just lip sync to The King.
This man doesn't even begin to sound like Elvis - much less really look like him.... Please!! Man, he really crushes "If I Can Dream" ..... aghhhh! Ohhh - take it off! Please ....
I saw Elvis in person in 1974,and the room was electrifying! I never saw so many flash bulbs going off non stop the entire length of the concert. I've seen lots of people get a room to it's feet and an audience enjoying the music but no one since has moved a crowd the way Elvis did, you just had to be there to experience it. He was an original, his music a gift. Others just copies at best As far as impersonators, he only person I feel has come close to impersonating Elvis is Kurt Russell.
You should go watch the ONLY man Elvis himself gave a standing ovation to.....Elvis Wade Cummings! None of these guys can touch his singing ability even now. Wade Cummings also wrote the movie The Identical!!
I know that Roddy McDowell did the songs, not Kurt Russell. But I still feel Kurt captured Elvis' spirit in the 1979 Elvis movie, unlike others who may try to mimic his singing. First time I heard Roddy I thought it was Elvis, he's got Elvis' voice quality perfect. Back when the Elvis movie was made Kurt beat out 700 Elvis impersonators for the role, and others who personally knew Elvis felt Kurt was channeling Elvis throughout the filming..I just personally feel Kurt captured him best.
I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but that was not Kurt Russell's voice your heard in the Elvis movie he did. The person singing all the Elvis songs in that movie was country singer Ronnie McDowell. You can see Ronnie McDowell touring with Elvis' backup group The Jordanaires and sometimes with another Elvis backup group The Stamps Quartet.
Ryan Pelton is very good but please don't compare him or any other impersonators to Elvis . Elvis Aaron Presley was and still is the King. The King is untouchable.
Apparantly you people haven't watched a Bad Elvis impersonator. This guy is great compared to some I have seen. If you see them in person, it is different than a video
He has Elvis's eyes, but other than that, he sounds more like any other impersonator. When this guy was thinner, he was a dead ringer for a young Elvis (in looks only), but I guess he's now trying to transition into the "fat Elvis" period. The voice sometimes is right, more often wrong. And the way he moves... just no. He either hasn't done enough studying or just doesn't have the raw energy that Elvis possessed.
people have forgotten what elvis looked liked and sounded like and this has to be a young audience cause this guy is really no where close at all...and he goes around the world?
Good impersonator, but not the closest... Shawn Klush, Dean Z. and Trent Carlini all have this guy beat. But, I'll admit, this cat, Ryan is really good!
I seen another clip where he looked almost just like I was in his younger days like he had surgery or something. So I just looked them up see how he sings. They're making a big deal about what he looks. Now that I look at them he don't look all that much like he did in the other clip. Like Elvis. Is voice not even close in my eyes. Just because he has the Deep sound, it doesn't mean he sounds like Elvis. Too many people think they sound like Elvis when they have that bass vocals. Very untrue. I just think people don't want to be mean and say you don't sound as good. They sugarcoat the truth. I always was taught to not sugarcoat someone's performance tell them the truth. So he can get better. I'm sorry that's my opinion. But strange and it maybe, the other clip that I see them like a small interview you look thinner and younger and he look just like Elvis did in his younger days. That's no lie. This is why the way they're portraying him bouncing his face around about singing It's amazing cuz he does look a lot like him in his younger days. But once you start singing, figures he don't have the whole package. Sometimes we get an Elvis impersonator that sounds 95% like the real deal. But his looks aren't there. And then we get someone that looks almost 98% like Elvis but he cannot perform like Elvis. Are we ever going to get the real deal. I feel it is coming
+Mac Attach all ETA's should lol they are for the most part good singers but unfortunatly they are not even close and no one will ever be and thats fine !!! if I want to see or hear Elvis music I"ll put a DVD or a CD of the REAL Elvis
NO. Not even remotely close. This man doesn't sound anywhere near Elvis Presley. No knock on Pelton but he just falls far short of the mark. Three men have successfully recaptured and embody the spirit of Elvis Presley. Two are from England the other from U.S. soil. Ben Portsmouth, Chris Conner and Donny Edwards. That trifecta is basically unstoppable.
in my opinion, out of all the "mainstream" ETAs (the guys who headline the most and get featured the most)...pelton sounds the least like elvis. i've seen and heard him quite a few times. lots of gimmicks; decent looks. every time i say he sounds terrible as an ETA, the response i get from women is "but he looks good in leather". well, looks are only 1/3 of the package. he sounds like Elvis as much as josh turner sounds like roy orbison. no thanks.
He's got the looks and the moves but he just doesn't have the vocal range especially at the top end of Elvis, he'll make a living though, good luck to him
