But it didn’t matter, because the song was a big success, staying at number 1 on the US Billboard for seven straight weeks! Elvis was INSANELY ahead of his time, and changed popular culture forever! His influence still lives on even in 2023 :D

I sometimes cry thinking about the legacy he left behind and how I can't live that experience within the music industry. I like music today just fine and dandy but no artist has ever struck a cord within me that made me a crazed party animal like I do when I hear this man's voice. He's got the kind of charisma that very few are born with that you just can't help but listen to him.

I played this song really loud at 100 on the sound dail at a huge ghetto block party. All the people on the street party went crazy and started dancing. The ghetto dudes started screaming the words to the song but not knowing who the singer was because the don't listen to rock but only rap music. When the song was over they asked me who it was and i told them it was Elvis Presley. They were shocked beyond belief and they wanted me to play the song again but even louder than before. At the end of the song they couldn't stop talking about how good elvis really was and they all wanted to hear only elvis and no more rap music at the block party. I will never forget that day for the rest of my life.
