Elvis Presley made television and entertainment history with his Elvis, Aloha from Hawaii concert, performed at the Honolulu International Center Arena on January 14, 1973. It was beamed live via Globecam Satellite to various countries, on a delayed basis to approximately thirty European countries and it first aired in America that April 4th on NBC in edited form. The American broadcast version included four "insert" songs that were shot just after the concert. In all, the concert was seen in over forty countries by close to 1.5 billion people, a global ratings smash. Never before had one performer held the world's attention in such a way. Aloha from Hawaii presents Elvis Presley at the pinnacle of his superstardom, giving one of the most outstanding concert performances of his career.

I'm 60 years old and I know all musical styles. I've been listening to Elvis since I was 12 years old. I appreciate any kind of good music. I also know all the songs by Johnny and June Cash (Great). However, Elvis remains the greatest musician and entertainer of all time. He implied all the power of his soul in all his songs. One could almost say: he gave away his whole heart to his listeners. So, in that way, this is definitely unique.

Man lately I have been re watching anything I could find on Elvis. He was a phenomenon! God given gift of talent he shared with us and left us. We must keep his legacy strong and not fade! 1:19. That smile just plain and simple melted anyone and everyone. His looks and character elevated him to living God status, (a tough gig for anyone) and that smile was a big part of it! He was The King for sure. No one has come close to him yet in my opinion.
