Notice he kissed the granddaughter on the cheek and the other ladies on the lips..... He gave himself for his fans....no one will ever come close to Elvis and his love of people
Elvis was loved by men and women. He was so special. I bet the women are still talking about kissing Elvis. I know i would. please keep reacting to him.
Well, it was 1970, after all -- performers were generally measured by their talent, not by how much trouble they got themselves into...And -- it's Elvis. The King abides.
He really loved his fans, and they loved him back. In his 1968 comeback special he also performed with his fans all sitting around him. Just a couple of feet away. You don't see that these days. He was a #1 Class act.
This is one evidence that the times we live in now are not the best ones, here in 2020 and 2021. What you witnessed in this video represents one of the best times to have lived. Even though I wasn't at this event I personally am glad I got to live in times like this when people weren't freaked out about the things that they are today. I loved your reaction so much! Great job! Here's to your next one! 🙏🙂❤️
Lizzie, When you hear that people lived in a different time back then, THAT'S another example of the times before you came along. Elvis was very giving of so many gifts ( you heard about him giving away Cadillacs to people he hardly knew), and in this video people wanted to kiss Elvis, and he allowed it. He had a big heart, and he shared a lot.
Elvis was so cool he loved his fans as you could see they loved him it was 50 years ago the Goat love that performance your reaction made me smile cause you had a look of shock it's not today though only Elvis could get away with it I'd love to have been one of those women thank you and stay safe 😷✌
Met him twice when I was ten(73) and 12(75), awesome concerts, very nice man. He even touched my head while my father walked him and his guards thru the tunnel to a waiting limo away from the coliseum. I still have that drumstick I got that night
Your expressions are priceless! The woman he kissed at 4:10 is now 80 and she recently identified herself on Instagram! She was married too with her husband in the audience when she approached Elvis walking past her table.
Lizzie love your smile and beautiful eyes ! Every time Elvis was in Las Vegas I was blessed to see him about 12 times and in 1972 he pulled my daughter on stage ! See why he was the king of rock and roll and the number one record seller in the world ! 😘👍
Elvis had so much charisma it was dripping off him. Elvis' people had no idea he was going to leave the stage and go into the crowd, he had kissed a few girls before but never left the stage. He truly loved his fans and once his people told Elvis he had to stop giving cars houses and rings to the public or they would end up with the shirt of his back - Elvis answer was "If the fans want the shirt off my back let 'em have it, theyre the ones who put it there" - what a cool guy, a true legend.
Nice reaction my friend! The song was from his first movie. They didn’t want to hear the song they just wanted to see the cat and to to be close to him. He’s an original. Thanks for the great reaction. Peace
Many faces were familiar to Elvis , the women got to see every show while their husbands were in the casino , I have heard . it was a super club show at the hotel in Vegas What a thank you aye. Elvis was told one day at his home in Memphis Did you know their is someone sleeping on the lawn. Elvis said something to the effect i wouldn't have that lawn if it wasn't for my fans. He was so giving and sincere.
well Lizzie girl, you just witnessed the greatest performer to ever live. No bombs, no lazer lights, just pure raw talent, the black girls were called the sweet inspirations, Whitney Houston's momma was one of them. Pull up her interview here on YT and see what she had to say about him. Also pull up what Whitney herself had to say about him, she said you just looked at Elvis, you were too shocked to speak. She said he was the most gorgeous man ever built....Roost
I have seen him 6 times and had also a personal meeting with him of so about 10 minutes and believe me these were one the most happiest moments of my life. This is off the That's the way concert August 1970, and I was there as a kid of 5 years old and this was the first time I saw hiim and it made of me an eternal Elvisfan in heart and soul.
Now you need to hear him singing, “I can Dream”. He wrote and sang this song shortly after MLK, Jr was assassinated, in memory. Very apt to listen to this month!
This video is from 1970, some 51 years ago. It was a very different world back then. (Imagine how different the '50s were!!) I like your reaction to it, pretty good imitation of Elvis's voice too :o) It was a more romantic time in those days, more innocent than today. Subscribed.
Lizzy. You will never see a performer like Elvis ever again ! Elvis has , is the greatest entertainer of ALL TIME ! Whatch his concert from Hawaii and the first too be seen World wide via satellite , by his first name !
that bit with the grand daughter always strikes me as well. but I promise you, wherever that little girl is now, she has told that story a thousand times.
Le plus beau de toute Amérique à nos jour aucun chanteur ou acteur revalise avec Elvis il sont trop trop loin regarder Elvis à la télé et laver vos yeux c est le plus beau à le voir à la tele
Nice reaction but as a lifetime Elvis fan and his attraction to women and vice versa this was no surprise, as he was a one off in so many aspects of his life. I also wonder how many male solo artists would have been too interested in doing this at any time 😊😊😊
I think no other entertainer would have gone out in the audience and kissed all those fans! Jones or Hump may have kissed a few from the stage, but that's about it.
This scene will be in the Elvis biopic movie (Directed by Baz Luhrmann) due out next year. In a recent interview he mentioned re-creating it (Elvis in his Las Vegas showroom being kissed by "hundreds" of women in the audience). This is a classic Elvis moment, that's for sure!
Watch him performing Bridge Over Troubled Water from the same concert in 1970. Love Me Tender was a throwaway song during concerts so he could kiss his admiring fans. Cool, good looking chap!
No the husband were not mad. Every woman wanted him and every man wanted to be him. This was perfectly acceptable in the 70’s. I miss these days. Elvis was EVERYTHING!
