Me too my friend and I was lucky enough to love her greatly for 50 years. My Dad had passed when I was a child so I knew to never take a minute for granted. I admired how much Elvis adored his parents. Everything he did in those days was to spoil them rotten and give them gifts all the time. His parents weren't into glitter and gold , they simply wanted the best for their precious son. I'm glad his Mom didn't have to endure Elvis's passing. She worshipped that young man ❤❤
I love this. Elvis must have been so proud to know he paid cash for a home for his parents. I am happy for him. God bless Elvis. As soon as he got anything Elvis always thought immediately of his mother.

That’s sweet, watching them eat snow, when we were little mother used to make ice milk for us when we were wanting ice cream and it snowed .. We are from Alabama, Mississippi area ourselves originally an very poor like Many were Back then . We would fill a big pan with fresh clean snow and she would add milk and sugar to it with a touch of vanilla… Ice milk❤️ You did your best mother… Miss you so much
I live up north and I'm use to the cold winters and alot of snow. I was shocked to see so much snow in Tennessee .. Maybe it was something new that didn't happen often ?? How cute, they were even eating the snow :) Elvis had a huge heart and took good care of his family.

David Nelson ,thank you very much, I was very lucky, but you have to remember this was 1954, E was just getting started and I just met him at the beginning of his fantastic career, he and my dad were great friends until my dad's death in 1975. two great losses in 2 years!!!!!!
David Nelson , yes that was at a time when we could go out to eat and not. get mobbed, lol, but that dint last long by 1955 he was very popular and the rest is"history".
Hazel Evans , yes they were all three of them. Mrs P especially she loved everyone. But don't mess with her baby!!!!!!! The love she had for him was absolutely wonderful, so sad she didn't get to see the impact he had on the world.

Elvis purchased Graceland in 1957. And I love a snowy day. This video looks fantastic because there's snow in it. That's one thing I love about winter.

That’s what I said. I was born in 74, but I remember even in the early 80s, the snow was clean. I was coming home today looking at the nasty ground, remembering being able to walk outside without stepping on food, gum, or spit. Thinking about how at one time it was fun to lay in the clean snow. Now I don’t even wear shoes in my house.
Where is this time gone.. Now Elvis, his mum,father, daughter all died..all gone. No moore Graceland is like before..time gone.. We have to be happy for everyday in life..
I wish he would have peaked in this era. I think his mom would have lived and Elvis would have also. Would the story be as interesting? No but he would have lived a normal life I bet.
@Flora Braswell it was made so Elvis could see the snow at Graceland. He was away filming at the time. It was featured on the official DVD and explained fully.
