Our mom Demanded my big sister and I be home for his 68 Special. We said ugh Mom! It's movie Elvis!! We watched it and omg the Karate and prostitute dance scenes..lo,l Then his un plugged in leather and then his protest song of If I can Dream?!! The next day he was back to being the biggest thing and so cool to love him again. My Mom said a bit later remember it took 4 of your Beatles to challenge just One King..lol Yea Moms do know best.. Then she had us watch his Hawaii concert because it was the 1st to be broadcast via satellite.. I'm now hitting my 60's. Was a drummer in a few bands and some err a ton of wild times in the 80's and what I would give to have just 5 mins with my Mom and Dad...Give your parents a big hug for me please..
