@@officialfuninthesouth yes sir I was there in June of 1988 I took it all in plus back then they didn’t have the jumpsuits in glass cases I was the last in line and dragged behind I reached over and touched the American eagle jumpsuit on the shoulder they were behind a rope plus I sat on the yellow bar stool in the basement but got caught doing that and was told not to do it again lol. But what was very weird to me was when I was on the front steps waiting to go in the tour lady was telling us stuff then the front door opened everybody walked in I was last as I made my way in the doorway still standing there as the people up front weren’t moving I felt my hair standing on my neck and a chill going down it I felt his presence all around me I felt like he was watching me till I moved in the living room the feeling left and I felt at ease till later when I thought about it a few years later that feeling I got till I realized where I was standing over top was the bathroom were he died at it was very weird experience I had I’ll never forget it because I’ve been a fan all my life and a big collector of Elvis stuff

E seen a few different tours of Graceland on RU-vid, but yours was different! O really enjoyed the detail ..Great job!

I love the blue and white in the living room, the peacock stained glass too (think Linda Thompson responsible for that, at the entrance door too). Elvis had good taste. (I did not know that about the chandelier, Elvis responsible for that. Ha.) The "Jungle Room" (think fan named it that, not Elvis) is different, but a man's man room. The dining room is beautiful with the blue and white too. I want to visit "Graceland Mansion" some day, but the sadness, wish Elvis had more years there. His beloved home, where he could be himself (beautiful land with his horses). Thank you for sharing, Elvis was very much loved, and very much missed (his music lives on though.)

This was 3 months after Lisa Marie passed away and we all know it went to Riley and everything that’s what’s happened since. It’s so sad what death can do to people sometimes!

I know they settled. My opinion, settling was the easiest and best for Riley et al. However, Priscilla getting that money and allowance to be buried at Graceland, is silly. She was the Ex- Ex… Ex… she wasn’t even allowed to use the Presley name after Elvis mortgaged Graceland to pay her out. But.. their business..

Maybe not so many nuts back then. My uncle was there in the early 70's, he knew the security guard and he and his buddy were let in the front gate to walk around the grounds. Apparently that was a common thing that would happen. He played guitar in the backyard and Elvis came out on his way to a movie for the night and told him he played pretty good.

@@GarretGrayCamera yeah I guess it was a different world back then and musicians and celebrities probably didn't worry as much about security until after the John Lennon incident plus Elvis seemed like he loved the people I guess the last few decades has a turned us into a world that is used to seeing barriers and security everywhere unfortunately
