I've seen both live with performance and Tom gets the ladies going with an outstanding performance but Elvis was impressive and electrifying with ladies and the gents! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the King with standing ovation lasting over 30 mins+!! There will never be anyone that can out do the Legend, the King! Performers come and go but Elvis will always stay!💕

No doubt Elvis has an amazing voice in everything that he sings! I’ve listened to both versions by Elvis and Tom Jones so many times just so I can be sure of myself before posting “my” opinion, so here it goes. Elvis sang this song great, no denying that. However, Tom Jones in “my” opinion sang it with more heart and soul. There are different videos of Tom Jones singing this song, and if anyone listens to the one where he’s probably in his 30-40’s maybe someone might also hear what I heard. Just the way Tom Jones made his voice as though he truly felt like he’d never fall in love again, and heartbroken. Ok that’s what I thought lol. Happy you tubing..
It's a beautiful song. Tom Jones has a very good voice and a great range, but Elvis Presley is incredible, he is a baritone, his voice is unique, he is incredible, he is the King!!!

Yo no se porque hacen comparaciones ,son muy buenos los dos ,pero porsupuesto Elvis es el mas grande cantante ,y no tiene comparacion con ningun otro ,no la grabaron nunca juntos pero me gusto esta mezcla de ambos ,un saludos a todos des una punta del planeta ,esta cancion cantada por estos monstruos es tremenda.
I'm an Elvis fan but this song lays better for Tom Jones. Probably why it was a major hit for him. To my knowledge they never recorded this song together and I can't find a reference to it being recorded so I suspect its studio engineering duet. Really wish these engineered duets would be identified as such or a reference to the studio, venue, date, recording session or reference to when they recorded it together.
They never recorded the song together. At least not in a professional sense. Perhaps they did did it privately. I think Elvis does an incredible job but this is Tom Jones's baby but I definitely think Elvis does it do justice
Elvis was so much better than Tom. He had a far more versatile voice, with a huge range . It says it all when they played Elvis singing Green Green Grass of Home at the Principality Stadium Cardiff, at a rugby international a few years back. Elvis sings it with such emotion, Beautiful! 🥰👑
