Her exact words were “he would be sharing a cell with R.Kelly” Does she even know what R.Kelly did ! And this is a supposed Elvis author/historian ! Making such an ignorant dangerous claim about our boy, that angered us more than anything ! If that sits ok with you then as the song goes ‘if your head is in the sand while things are goin' on’ It isn’t ok with us not in the slightest… It isn’t blowing anything out of proportion either…we will not take a backward step on this, we meet this head on, and we will continue to do so. Those involved in making this documentary…man the damage you have caused, it’s sickening.

Oh Scotty what a spot on video. The entire Stanley bunch that unfortunately weaseled their way into beautiful Elvis’s life are nothing but disgusting. Starting with their mother Dee. She took terrible advantage of Vernon who was devastated since loosing Elvis’s beloved mother Gladys. The most disgraceful thing she did was to go on talk shows hawking her trash of a book and insinuating horrible things about Elvis she should of been so ashamed to spew these lies. David has always had an issue with the truth. David needs to always be held accountable for his actions and his statements. However, I do believe Elvis loved David as a brother and Elvis treated David as if he was a brother. David may or may not have loved Elvis as a brother, but his actions when Elvis was alive and after makes it difficult to believe he did. Elvis was more like a walking talking bank account / insurance policy / fairy godfather to David, who makes it clear in every book he writes that he, David, was acting like a fool by the time he was in high school and Elvis / Vernon bailed him out over and over, yet he never learned any lessons and was always ungrateful. David continues to struggle with the truth and his own worldly desires. If Elvis were alive today, I believe he would weep and pray for David. If we look slightly beyond David, we can see many other individuals with sinister intentions to exploit David and Elvis, individuals who paid for this most recent documentary, individuals who pay David to write more books, individuals who do not care about the truth or verifying facts, individuals who are willing to use Elvis in disgusting and immoral cartoons targeted to exploit children just like Joe Camel, an entire industry of individuals working around the clock to make money off of the King no matter what the cost to truth or history.
As Ann Margaret said in her interview on the Charlie Rose show. "It is awful that after he died, the very people he cared for and trusted, wrote all these books for money". 7 Jul 2023. The Stanley ‘s are so ungrateful to Elvis and his legacy. He taken care of them when their mother divorced their drunken father and pushed herself to Elvis. Elvis did not want her. So she pushed herself to Vernon. They used his to make monies since Elvis died. They constantly want attention and monies. Very evil family. Why isn’t cousin Billy Smith defending Elvis. He and wife and daughter have RU-vid channel Elvis fans Matter.. they reminisce and answer questions. I was member for awhile and recently brought light to these horrible things Stanley has said and why not defend Elvis. The truth behind a person's legacy years after their passing, is that it only matters why the legacy survives. And with Elvis and his enduring legacy, it survives because of the passion of those who follow and often passionately love how they perceive the legacy to have been created. Elvis is different in some many ways to many people from different walks of life, as they put his music/movie on the player and let his legacy envelope them. Elvis prevails to the long term regardless of biopics, documentaries or media hit piece. New fans come, some go but the legacy is strong as ever. Who would have thought that the youngster who walked into the Sun Recording studio was still as iconic in the next century as the one he lived in. Maybe the next one too......

When Elvis return to Graceland one day, he was in shock that his house had been re-decorated, he was so angry because his beloved mother Gladys the one decorated the house before and now looks different and he didn't like it. When he found out that his father newlywed wife did this, he threw all her belongings outside, asked the couple to move out to another house nearby. Today that house is known as Vernon's house. Now you know one of the reasons with all these made up hate stories. Nobody stands between him and his mother, not even a step mom, Elvis loves his mother dearly.

Lets not get carried away with all this. We all need to take a step back and remember that Elvis was just human all of us. By putting him on a pedestal are we looking at him through "Rose Coloured Glasses"?...... Yes he had his faults, Was his private life different from his public life" As Elvis once said (sorry if quote isn`t quiet correct) "The image is one thing, but the person is another" Elvis no doubt found it extremely difficult to live up to the image of "Elvis" when in public. What was he like in private behind the public gaze?. Only those who were there can answer that. Whether what they reveal contains the truth or not, we`ll never know! But does it really matter? The man is gone, his legacy remains. To me Elvis was special. Why?......not as a superman, but as someone that had a talent that touched people in many ways.....I listen to him when i need to escape for a little while from the pressures of life ,its a form of escapism from reality. I respect Elvis as the extraordinary performer that he undoubtable was, ,but his private life should remain private. (Why do we need to know it?) What good does it do to rake up any skeleton in his closet (which we all have) Let the man rest, and just enjoy what he left us.

Was friends with Ricky Stanley, he lived 15 minutes from me, so visited him almost everyday. About a 5 year friendship before he passed away. Ricky and David where in together on writing a book. Not sure if it was David's latest book or not. But when they were together on a book, David suggested to do a TELL ALL book to Ricky. Ricky said he didn't want that, so Ricky went on his own. Ricky never completed his book before he passed away. I have many of his note books and tablets he was writing in. Scanned through them a couple of times. David is now on his second book since then. Not sure what else the fans would enjoy to hear after 46 years. Ricky told me something about Elvis in that time period which blew me away. But I felt maybe he was testing me with not to tell, if I did then Ricky knew where it came from. So took it with a grain of salt sort if when he told me what he did. I can't or won't say what it was, because I knew Elvis better than Ricky realized or thought I did. And seen so much to conflict what Ricky said to me about Elvis. So I won't say because I know it not to be true. Never even told my wife what he said. Nobody
How do as Elvis fans do anything though as it’s out there already. Sometimes it seems our outcry brings more attention and curiosity. Stanley needs to write an op-ed in major paper and apologize fully and deny all he has said. Not just on his Facebook page

Elvis was a beautiful human being & being human he wasn’t perfect & who the hell is!! Elvis worked so hard to provide for his family & friends & this is the thanks & gratitude he gets😡. Elvis was never one to speak negative about other people. He was so kind & very generous. Elvis & his legacy deserves better!! And don’t even get me started on the new Priscilla movie🤬
I am 80 and this awful thing has already been grabbed by many on youtube. I have been a fan since 1956 and know almost as much about Elvis as his real family. Mr. Stanley has been traveling the world selling tickets at, $100 a pop to people trashing Elvis just like his gold digger mother did. They make me sick. One ministry on youtube said Elvis worshiped the devil and used voodoo to hypnotize his audiences. This "Step brother has given all the Elvis haters a field day. I wish he could be sued for slander. I’m not sure why people do this type of dirt. Elvis was nothing but good to them. When they were kids he treated them well and gave them jobs when they were grown. The one who claims he’s born again who just wrote the book on faith did say a lot of nice things. So I’m confused why they all wrote books so negative about Elvis. I think the comments, on the subject of this video, just show how disgusting and double faced these people were to Elvis. Today I cried tears watching this video ,but they weren't from the heart. They weren't of joy and happiness but of sadness and disgust. The tears stuck in my throat, heavy on my stomach, just like those people. They didn't deserve Elvis's love and protection. Yes, I do believe that Vernon regretted marrying their mother! I cringed hearing that man's voice at the beginning, but then hearing Elvis's voice took all the poison away! I remember reading "Elvis We Love You Tender" and being really pissed off at the Stanleys. And their mom, it sounds in the book like she was after Elvis initially, and when it didn't turn out like she wished, she went full steam after Vernon. It's sad how they all had to make money off of Elvis, and had no seeming respect for him after his death.

How many times is this David going to crawl out from under his rock? His mother seemed like a real piece of work too so that explains alot. I saw an interview with Dee the stepmotherzilla and could tell she was just spinning her web. Saying how she fell for Vernon (even though she was married at the time) because he was so handsome she couldn't help herself.🙄
