And also. I agree completely. Elvis would have wanted his family there, running Graceland. Family ment everything to him. He wouldn't be happy with, the way his family was treated after his death. Your father and mother especially. He truly loved and cared, for all of you. He is watching over you all from Heaven .🎼🎵🎶🙏💞
Hi Danny & Teresa You've spoken in the same way Elvis felt about family & friends his fans and Graceland there have never been an entertainer who have allowed his fans to write messages on the outside id his /her property or allowed his fans stand around his property without calling authorities and kept his tickets at low prices so his fans could afford them , He never had a greed for money . The Smith Family that knew Elvis well should fully speak out and not at all be concerned about steping on any ones toes who happen to be affiliated with Graceland and EPE , Elvis cant speak for himself but his family can especially Billy. Thank you for sharing i enjoyed as always continued blessings & success!!! 👍
I remain as devoted a fan of Elvis as I ever was. Yet, I've reluctantly taken Graceland off my bucket list. As much as I'd love to see it, by the time I add up transportation, food and the cost of visiting Elvis' home, I simply can't afford it. Yet. I'm glad Graceland is there for those who can.
I love your idea Danny! So many of us Elvis fans get left out because of the expense! It's so commercialized now, that they are pricing us older ones out! I've been saving for a couple years now,and my son is really wanting to go. But I worry about having enough money so we can really get to. see everything! They need one price to see everything. I'm also worried about safety! That's a top concern for me, having a safe place to stay without worrying about getting robbed or shot!
Beautifully said: “Graceland was a home”! The home of Elvis and his family..you don’t know how much I appreciate your sense of family and your obvious deep love for Elvis! How I wish your side of the family had possession before it became a Disneyland 😢 Thank you, the absolute loyalty you show is phenomenal..God Bless you all ❤
Why would Billy Smiths side of family have possession of Graceland? Graceland is not Disney land either. The home was going to be foreclosed on after Elvis's death. The money he had when he died was owed out! She had no choice but to open Graceland. The home is a museum n the 2 most visited home in America.
Very good idea Danny about the FAMILY in charge and keeping employment with in the family. Too bad that things fell into hands that abused Elvis 's wishes and got to be all about the $$$$ . I am sure that if Elvis would have known what would happen he would of layed out a better will that would included the Smith family .
Sure wish you could have had Graceland too. You and family would make it feel like a home!Elvis was so proud of it. Priscilla made it a museum. Elvis loved his fans and understood that is who made put him where he was!He was a down to earth person like most of his fans. Priscilla was not.❤
I wish one of u all had got to have Graceland because I feel like u all would have kept it feeling like a home and just the way Elvis had it. That would have been awesome. We love u and ur whole family and thanks for the information in ur videos. ❤❤
I wish to God that Elvis’s family worked at Graceland. It would make it that much more special. You’re his family and your stories are so much fun to listen to. I pray that I get to Graceland. Hopefully by the end of this year. It will be a dream come true for me. Love your videos Danny and Teresa! ❤❤❤
Back in 68 before the comeback special came out my grandmother and her sister had the pleasure of meeting Elvis out in LA. They said he had the biggest Cory and was so nice to them both. Would of loved to have met him myself
Dear Danny, I can see and feel your honest love and grief when talking about Elvis, Lisa Marie and Graceland. Very touching, and painful, too. I hope and pray you and your parents, and your family will be at your rightful places at the end of the day in the history of Elvis' life🌹! Thank you for all you do for us and take care y'all. With love from Germany 🙋🏻
QUESTION: It sad that your Daddy, Momma and family and the Stanley Brother's that are all Elvis's family are not welcome to go to Graceland. Would y'all ever go after hours for a private visit if EPE and Angie would welcome you to come, like they do Linda and Jerry???
I’ve always said if I could have one thing that belonged to Elvis it would have been his ID bracelet. It seems he wore it so often when on tour. That’s the thing I would have treasured. I hope y’all have a great week, and you don’t get this with any of the remnants of the hurricane coming through. Blessings to you both.
The energy at Graceland with Elvis, Lisa and y’all must have been an amazing experience! Thank you for sharing those memories with us Elvis fans. Blessings to you all.
I truly appreciate your response on how you said Graceland was a home. Compared to the early 90's, I'm sure it was changed but seeing what it has become in today's times is utterly sad. Respectfully speaking, your answer is more humbling with the heart, as I'm sure he would have, than what Graceland is displaying. Thank you
❤ enjoyed the video I wish I could see Graceland through the way you guys see Graceland sometimes I just imagine what it would be like just sit there with mr. Billy and Elvis and Miss Jo it was be like being in the time machine love you guys very much
I love your ideas for Graceland and your way for it sounds fun! Dances yes please! I haven't been to Graceland since 1997! The Zippin Pippin was still around and rode it. Lots of fun back then.
Have you photos to share of you living at Graceland? Have you any of you with Elvis and Lisa? Can you maybe do a slideshow video post? I can’t imagine living there and then not…. You must miss it Danny! 👌🏻⚡️
I was getting ready for my vacation to go to Elvis week n was asked how I became a fan n said well it was ingrained at a tender age of 6 months my hand was touching the TV as can see a white silhouette in pose he was doing Aloha Hawaii aired in 73
Billy - love you now and always. Warm regards. Elvis forever. QUESTION: I wrote Elvis letters as a child .... I always imagine they're locked away in a big chest in the attic at Graceland. Let me hold on to that dream! Any chance they're up there or has everything been discovered in hiding places in the mansion?! Love and hugs!!
I recently went to Graceland I wanted to sit on the bench out front . I felt a calm happy feeling like he knew his fans were there . Have you felt that feeling?
Sweet story. I used to sit with my bffs ex husbands gramps whenever they went out whether it was for a few hrs or sometimes a weekend. I had a super close bond with him he was a funny funny man. A character I tell u. He was a HUGE HUGE Elvis fan. So many eves I would wheel his hospital bed out to the deck (he was a black belt in the military that had his back broken during a training exercise which didnt keep em down he would go thru mcds druve thru in his electric chair lol and l8tr discovered he also had MS. It was the ms that kept em down n bedridden. Anyhow we would sit on the deck listen to his elvis CDs for hrs is see him tapping to the music with the only hand that worked. Or bopping his head. When we were out there when he was in his chair I would dance with em to Elvis specially my fav song all shook up. Id hold his good hand. N dance while he bopped his head. He got into it as he also lived to dance b4 his accident. Anyhow thought id share his story. He passed away a few yrs ago n since it was just his bday a few wks ago ive been thinking about em a lot.
Thank you for sharing your memories of Elvis. I would love to meet you and TERESA and your mom and daddy. Maybe someday. I have been an Elvis fan for over 50 years. Still love him. Again, thank you for sharing your memories. We always live Elvis and Elvis fans matter!
I couldn't agree more about your feelings towards Graceland. That sounds exactly how Elvis would've wanted it. I often question what he would think. I'm a single mom who's been wanting to visit Graceland for many years. I would even love a meet up with other fans where we talk about what we loved about him & those who met him, share stories & pics. However, to visit Graceland, when you add everything up, hotel, ticket, flight or gas, I could take my daughter to Disney for just a bit more. The same if I go through the AF Base. As a mom, it's hard to justify spending that kind of money when you have a young kid who would rather go to Universal, Disney, or a beach. Or, when you need to save up to buy a new car because your AC broke. Lol! It would be awesome if there were local Elvis fan clubs again, & each chapter got together once a month or so, and then have one big meet up with all the chapters across the US coming together for a free event once a yr. Anyway, thank you so much for all that you and your family do when it comes to answering these questions for us Elvis fans! Appreciate you taking the time to do so!
TWO QUESTIONS: What would Elvis think of todays music, especially rap? What cartoons and/or movies did Elvis enjoy watching with Lisa Marie? And, of course I'll be happy if you can only answer one. I also apologize if you have answered these questions in a prior video(s). I try to watch as many as I can and as often as I can. ☺️
I wish you and your family could have owned Graceland im 66 this year and i will never be able to see Graceland because the price of tickets is too high i cant afford those prices and thats a shame . Thank you for keeping the memories alive
I would have just wish I could have shook Elvis's hand and talk with him for a while I was at his 1975 concert in Evansville Indiana after his passing I went back to see his band members having a farewell concert for Elvis and Eddie Nick what a great singing Elvis's songs
The last question and answer was the best. To bad Graceland wasn't gave to ya'll or at least shared it with you and Lisa. I bet it would have been really great. It would be nice if ya'll could owned Graceland, because ya'll remember what Graceland was really like when Elvis was there and how he would have wanted it to be. I bet it would be better than it is today. I wish you and Lisa could have stayed close too.
Question- what do you think Elvis’ all time favorite song was, also did he like his song Never Been Spain? You don’t hear much about that song but I love it. I’ve always been an Elvis fan but something happened to me when Lisa passed and ever since then I’ve done nothing but research Elvis, literally everyday. Been to Graceland twice in a year, been to Tupelo, named my new puppy Memphis, reading “Careless love” right now. I can’t get enough of Elvis. Love all his music. He was the best. Elvis grew up in the best of times the 50’s. Thank yall for doing this. I’m from Daphne, Al. about 30 minutes north of Orange Beach.
Question I was wondering how Elvis learned to ride horses so well!? He looked like he was very comfortable racing around on his horse! Did he have lessons for his movies or did he just learn on his own? Thank you!
Hi Danny & Teresa , great video and Q&A ...Danny I have to agree I would pick Graceland tooi , the countless fun times you all had in there , boy if those walls could talk ! Ha ha ....and if I may ask , as Ive mentioned in the past I have neurological spine condition that's been in a terrible flare up for about a month now, severely limiting my mobility and with getting ready to turn 54 in a couple weeks , this go around is really affecting me! I've been dealing with my whole adult life since I'm 21.....so I thought I'd ask my Elvis family which includes you, your parents and Danielle ....if you could keep me in your prayers , it would mean a lot and maybe a shout out ! I hope you both have a blessed rest of the week , God bless you all and love you both so much! - Charlie
Thank you for answering my last question! QUESTION: Did you see the Elvis Build a Bear that came out last year in honor of the Elvis movie? What are your thoughts on it? I got mine before they sold out and I enjoy dressing it up in different outfits.
I love your videos and I've been sharing them with my friends who tell me they really like them, and respect what you say because you were there and you're his family. ❤ Thank you so much for sharing your memories and knowledge about this wonderful man,and the sometimes comical and always respectful way that you do!🙂
Thank you for the time that you put into making your videos and telling your stories about things that you know! It is just like sitting around with family listening to stories! I was so glad to hear you say something about the costs at Graceland. I have been lucky enough to go once. But I’d love to go again. God bless you for your generous heart of wanting to share Graceland with more people who could afford it!
Danny and Teresa you’re videos are amazing fantastic and awesome too watch I always live elvis tcb ⚡️Danny and Teresa you put love 💕 and respect into you’re videos witch I love 💕 the most 1:16pm thanks tcb ⚡️2:00pm
Great memories at Graceland. I had a feeling that you were going to pick Graceland. Thanks for today's video. I am glad that I can learn more info about Elvis. 👍
Danny, You made me feel like a real member of your channel after your shout out to me. I noticed no replys or responses to any of my comments or questions or maybe I was missing them but EFM took me in as a member a couple of weeks ago but after this shout out I see you got my texts. Thnkx So Much
Danny I was wandering did Elvis couch and TV upstairs/2nd did Elvis have safe box at house for money and jewelry or did he use safe box at bank? Lisa w Columbus oh p.s. still waiting for you and dad do sequel to eagle dance you did be cute with lainy also😁🦅🦅🦅
Hi Danny and Teresa, thank you for answering my question, in my minds eye I always pictured Elvis dressed to the T's in the house, like he was going to receive an award. :) I really like your idea about the tent and dancing and commiserating on property where people can enjoy themselves in a different way. 👍🏻
@@horselover8472an Elvis dance!!! 💃🎶💃, low key, nothing VIP, love that idea! I'm sure if Billy Smith's family had a say, everything would feel much more like the spirit of Elvis ❤️🎶
@@pattynuzzello9035 Yes; I have seen some of the archives but I don’t know if EPE acquired the items afterwards or if Elvis did while he was alive? Do you?
new subscriber from sydney australia ✌🏾. just saw the elvis musical over here at the state theatre and loved it, you probably have mentioned or posted this somewhere already (going through your videos one by one). just wondering if you have a photo with elvis at all?
I want to buy some of Yalls T-Shirts and baseball caps so I'm gonna see if I can find what you and EFM has for sale. I call my closest friends "My Boys" and my boys used to buy me all kind of Elvis stuff because they know I Love Him so maybe I can show them Yalls stuff. I wish I would've known the Smith family growing up. I'm 54 so I'm guessing we are close in age. I'm not some cuckoo but I guarantee we would've been Close friends. You seem so Cool
How did Elvis shop for his wardrobe? Did he go out to stores because he had quite an eclectic wardrobe so I’m just wondering how he acquired all of those pieces… Did he shop from a catalog? Did he have a personal shopper? And then when he would get up to get dressed, did he just go into his closet and pick something out or did someone select clothes for him?
Most of the tourist places (Disneyland) and sporting events are now so expensive. Many families could never afford to go.I don't think I would ever go to anything. I'd rather have nice books, DVD's and music from places I used to think of going to (but I went to Disneyland 3 times, the last in 1988).
QUESTION... Do you think maybe Priscilla would have a day for senior citizens to visit Graceland for free? Oops, now it would be her granddaughter's decision. How could we find out? I used to live in Memphis from 1966 till I moved to Texas in 1981. He has always been my favorite singer, always will be! You be good! Ha ha ha
QUESTION: A photo has surfaced on an auction website showing the space between the bottom of the kitchen stairs and the hall leading to the basement stairs. It shows the top cabinet full with rifles and the bottom was a console TV. Today it looks more like a credenza with a china cabinet. Do you remember it when the rifles were stored there?
I love what you said about Graceland ...and what you would do with it ❤ QUESTION: You might have already answered this, but what did you think about the rude things Prince Harry said about Graceland after he & Meghan visited?? It made me mad.
QUESTION: Danny, did Elvis ever try to teach you any life lessons or have any serious one on one talks with you? You know something like an uncle might do. Thnkx a million Teresa, I want to Thank You too for all your hard work.
🏈🏈 QUESTION 🏈🏈 I know Elvis loved football. Did you ever watch games with him? If so, was he calm or did he act crazy like the rest of us die-hard football fans?
