they say act like adults, but you can tell who the real bullies are here. There is no excuse for that kind of attitude, just becuase your famous doesnt mean you can make fun of somebody that dreams of their idol o.o
@@recorderknight1559 I don't understand why though. Sharons husband would be the perfect fit for a Impersonator. Just slap a short wig on the dude. Then you got an Elvis there for you.
Aww, poor guy. Still, from what I understand about Elvis Tribute Artists, they're judged on singing ability, charisma, and how much they look and sound like Elvis. This guy falls down so much in the looks category that it kills anything else he might do.
If I runned the tv station back then, and had the TV contract to transmit that Got Talent season on a big channel - Then I had fired Sharon, David & Peace of shit Morgan after this guy didn't got one honest chance to perform...!
It kind of pisses me off that they didn't even give him a chance. He probably waited hours to audition and they literally cut him off the second he stepped on stage.
Now you know how I feel. As a disabled contestant, I spent 3k dollars on an act to accommodate my disability. The producer liked me. But unfortunately, I never got called back to audition in front of the celebrity judges. I reached out to the producers and they ignored me, so it’s now in court where I’m hoping a federal judge will force the company to put me on the show. I’m entitled to such relief under Title III of the ADA.
Wow that was the biggest load of bullshit I've ever seen. I get that he's a little too overweight to impersonate Elvis, but the fact of the matter is the contestants should be judged by their TALENT, not how they LOOK. I'm probably gonna get a lot of hell for this but I actually thought his singing was decent, what little of it he displayed.
Yes he may have been overweight, that being said, his tribute was more Authentic then the one Joseph Hall did on the show. Release me has more lyrics then stupid Hound Dog and Elvis sang Release Me in a jumpsuit. Hall did the 50's version of Hound Dog in the leather and everyone thought he was so great when in fact he was just coasting along. This shows how mean, ignorant and miss informed people are.
How times have changed, I can’t even imagine the judges they have today doing this, and even if they did NBC would probably cancel the show on the spot if they saw them acting this way nowadays
Idqk they might have seen what was coming and tried desperately to prevent it. Might have been what that was all about. I still feel a violent earthquake was called for right then and there would've been nice
Every once and a while I like to revisit this. It's hilarious everytime, especially when the camera goes to the wide angle triple X shot at 55 seconds here. Lol. Hasselhoff's reaction as soon as he see's this Elvis impersonator is classic. It may have been unfortunate that he didn't get through the song, but that's show business!
they were rude should have at least let him sing his song then made their decision just because he was old and overweight they only judge by appearancesthey really hurt his feelings I could tell as he was leaving the stage he said they didn't even give me a chance
that was so sad! I felt so bad for the poor man! They keep repeating in every AGT that they want to see something new, someone that doesn't look like they could be talented burst out and surprise everyone! Judge him cause of how he looks?? Did they not see how hurt he was by those comments? :(
@kbplaya123 your probably right. I wouldn't hope for much though if I looked like him and tried to impersonate one of the most famous singers of all time.
Agree, he never had a fair chance. From the short time we did hear him, he was off tune on that song. I went back to listen to the real Elvis sing the song. You can't compare to Elvis, the man was gifted. That man had a beautiful golden voice.
@tankmaster1018 yea seriously. he wasnt bad at all. they just didnt give him a chance. he was born looking like that and now he has to suffer for it?! life aint fair my friend
man poor guy. when joseph hall came on the stage everyone was clapping even before he did anything. this guy comes out and gets x'ed immeditately before he can sing?! then sharon goes "u get x'ed when u look like that." thats got be damaging to the guys self esteem and confidence. poor guy.
That really messed up by the judges who would do such a thing? like really? comon the guy didn't even sing yet give him a chance? their job is to judge by his talent not his look.
lol my friends want me to go on this show lol i said nooooo i dont think i can take that risk im mean i do got videos on here on youtube lol i think thats good enough lol i think this dude try out okay lol but thats just mess up
I always give Elvis impersonators a chance, them three "CLOWN" judges were being spoiled idiots. come on man who doesn't want to hear some good ole elvis tunes man
@katelove141 That's because he wouldn't have stood a chance in the first place. It was blatantly obvious that the fans did not want a fat Elvis impersonator to go on to the next round. Yes, I admit it was cruel for the judges to do that, but even if he did get a fair chance, do you think America would have chosen him to be the winner that season? I wouldn't have.
@kbplaya123 I know but its a cold, hard world. If you are on Americas Got Talent and you look ridiculous like this guy, people are automatically going to assume the worst. From what I heard during the 2 seconds that he got to sing, he wasn't that bad.
I'm sorry to say, I like this show a lot and the judges are normally nice, but they were very mean to this guy. I know he doesn't look at all like Elvis, but let him try!
@tankmaster1018 listen dude i guarantee if u put josephs exact voice on this guy he would still get booed out of the arena..its all about looks and thats kinda fcked. the guy cant control how bad he looks. it prly was his dream to be a legit elvis impersonator and joseph gets it cuz he looks better?? thats fucked.have a heart tankmaster1018 seriusly..
that was totally unfair to the guy yes a bit overweight but that was so rude they have lost what stading they had in my book ill tell ya im gonna be the first one to let you know ......... its gonna be a little short guy that fools you with a awsome elvis voice !!!! not the tall slinder ..thin guy with a block on his shoulders from another country... just when you least expect it some one some where is gonna whooooo you ..the little guy has to work harder to please the crowd think about it what would elvis had said to that crowd??????
