Loved seeing where it all started with Scotty and Bill. I haven’t been to Memphis since 2018 but it took on an uncomfortable menacing feel after dark. I have been 6 times but not sure I will make another trip. A city that warns people not to commit murder - how insane is that? Thank you and Trey for keeping Elvis’ memory alive. He was the greatest.

Thanks so much...love all the facts where Elvis was and my favourite is always the memorbillia for sale!!!....been down there from western Canada 5 times...i was lucky enough to meet Elvis in 67 and 68 in L.A. then see 30 shows from 69 to 76!! A true fan and collector...keep up the GREAT work!!! Thks so much!!!

Thank you for sharing all the beautiful history. What's some people don't realize areas change especially when there's a lot of years? I grew up in Los Angeles. It was absolutely beautiful area bedroom community and look at it today. So we got a remember the things do change some areas? God bless you God bless tray you guys are remarkable. The Memphian Theater got it backwards on their notice. They cite "Elvis Birth Week" every mid-August and "Elvis Death Week" in late January."

The street where Scotty and Bill lived looks like a very poor area.

The River boat ride on Mississippi River was great. It is a poor city economically, but people I met were nice and friendly. I didn’t even feel the racial anger there that I expected like other cities. I was sitting on city bus back to my hotel. About 20 African Americans on bus. I was only white person. But I did not get evil sneers or looks, I was just a regular passenger. I thought about Rosa Parks. No one asked me to go to back of the bus. Why couldn’t the white man have this class and maturity 70 years ago? I gues MLK and Jesse Jackson did do their work, a lot still needs work done especially economically. A lot of closed up businesses. But their philosophy “ not to hate” seems to have rubbed off, at least in Memphis, I’m sure their is still anger and bitterness , but I never saw that when I was there. It may not be Beverly Hills but I recommend going there if you are a history buff, if you just want glitz and glamor that’s not the place. Not to say Memphis does not have affluent of all races, Peabody hotel just beautiful. But it is not on most trave agenda s for most people, except passing through. But I found it fascinating.

Hey Trey, at 21:02 you show a framed image of the Hilton. I have that Franklin Mint framed image of Elvis to the right of it. You don't show it in the video, I've had it near 35 years. Was wondering if you know how much that was for sale for?
