So, this AI gimmick has nothing to do with the world people came to love through the warcraft and wolrd of warcraft games. What is the idea in letting ai create "art" that has no semblance with what is either true to the game-engine or canonically correct? If this was about a totally different world you have made up yourself it would be fine, but as it is referencing Azeroth and warcraft lore there should at least be s-o-m-e samblance in the AI picture, or not? Made up emblems, buildings and landscapes that don't come even close to any other offical sources to be found. It detracts from what is being told and gives a false idea of the world. Not a fan of this at all.
While the symbols and emblems are off, I think things like this can actually paint a better picture of what places are like in actual lore, just because they can add more buildings and expand it. What we see in game is not what it is in lore. Stormwind is a metropolis of ATLEAST 200,000 (that is an incredibly old number, it's probably skyrocketed since) and how big these places actually are in lore would be almost impossible to put into the game. What we have is a really, really, really miniature version of the world that in itself is not lore accurate.
And it's not something anyone is willing to pay someone to make. The niche is that ai can make these pictures easily and give a cool.background for a video game lore video
I had to chuckle at the "great and terrible warlord, Hogger" part. Though he used to be the bane of many vanilla players, he's something of a shadow of his former notoriety. 😂 I hope you keep doing these, both sides, all sides, really. There's no shortage of material, and these AI interpretations coupled with narration are fascinating. 😊
What a stroll down memory lane. Even mentioning the Tower of Azora , but more specifically gnomes. Ever since day 1 18 years ago, I was facinated by gnomes in thier cute little tower and would RP there.
If Blizzard had made Stormwind (Azeroth) without ANY limitations it would probably have looked something like this, considering they say that Stormwind have a population of 200'000. In a way, I wish Blizzard could do a WoW2, or remake Azeroth to a version that at least challenge my PC.
this is amaziinggg!! make more about lore, interactions between characters, for shorts: "did u know"and "mind blowing facts" in wow u will be the next asmon if u stay constant😂❤️🙏
Honestly, this is a good thing, it's not 100% dead on with certain art and character designs but the descriptions are awesome and for people whining about it not matching WoW...FUCK WoW. I loved WoW for many years but a lot of WoWtards forget or don't even know Warcraft was a thing way before WoW. These descriptions match the scale of the RTS games and books better than WoW's sandbox world. My biggest pet peeve with WoW lore has always been it doesn't represent the scale of the continents implied in those mentioned games and novels and in lore the continents are supposed to be CONTINENTS. In game they're little more than islands that magically have weird climates in places that don't make sense. Now people can whine about my opinion on that but I don't think it hurts them a bit for me to want that detail to make more sense. A bigger Azeroth would be cooler. I know they can't literally make EK or Kalimdor 1000 miles wide or whatever so that's why these AI videos are cool, they paint a more vivid picture of these lands from Warcraft and that's why I like them. If Blizzard was smart, they would utilize this if they ever decide to expand Azeroth in WoW or some other Warcraft game down the line, be it WoW 2, Warcraft 4, Warcraft Dark Souls style or even a God of War style Warcraft game. They could use something like this to generate a rough version of the world and lore and then trim and edit it to fit what was already made.
i am loving these videos, i know its AI, but i feel like this is the kind of stuff when watching one after another, its like im finally getting the wow series we all wanted. but its just introductions for now. which is great!
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always wanted a single player version of WoW where you play as a character very similarly to the current game but each race and factions have unique storylines tailored to the class you choose to play. Idk, just always thought it would be cool to
Finally I found the author, you are. Your works amazed me when the time I first saw. Thank you for your works. May I know how did you do such amazing work. What tool apps did you use, are those houses and constructions 3D models? Can the AI which you use make 3D models like those in the vidoes?
At first I thought it was the Unreal 5 version that's been showcased around, but once the human models popped up I wasn't so astounded. AI can't do what Unreal 5 can...yet...
really cool video, i play WoW as a roleplayer, i dont folow the lore just make up my own as i play in the world, your video(s) give a really good idea of what the world would be like if they could be made full scale etc - helps with the immersion into roleplay - thanks
I've played WoW since 2009 and didn't even realize those towers had names or that there was any lore to them. Guess I should go there and check them out.
I wonder if you’re going to go over the other nations such as Quel’thalas, Teledrassil, Azuremyst Isle, Khaz Modan, Loch Modan, the Dark Iron Empire, Gilneas, Kazan, Mulgore, Stromgrade, Alterac, Kul Tiras, Zandlar, Suramar, Dalaran, Gnomeregan, Mechagon and the Pandaren Empire.
This just proves to me, whether were ok with it or not. AI is going to win sooner or later. This makes itself far quicker and cheaper than an employee would. If there is one thing we learned about child sweatshops, lithium mines, and corn syrup. Companies always take the short cut and those things listed above are far worse than fake art.
@yaboityler2617 I was talking about the use of AI in general. My point is that companies aren't going to care what your stance is on human art vs AI art. We didn't like lootboxes and Pay 2 Win and they shoved it all in anyways. This technology is going to be used to save on development cost and time. Pandoras box has been opened. Whatever your moral stance is on this issue isn't going to matter.
good on you to not forget that Kul Tiras is very much still a HUMAN kingdom and too often people call the kingdom of Stormwing the "Last human kingdom to exist" :) thats a like and subscribe from me
@@yaboityler2617 exactly ^^ so many disregarde the rest of it because stormwind XD good on you Edit: Well Theramor and Nethergarde no longer exist but details XD
It's a voicelabs narrator. The images are generated on midjourney models and animated with runway. I used Creative Commons music for this one, but I've found ways to even generate thematic music based off the script by using ai. The script itself is a lot of copy and pasting from wow wiki, with some of my own added commentary. It's actually pretty easy to make these, just very very time consuming. 99% of what ai creates is absolute slop hahaha. Keep in mind the wonky clips used in this video were still far and away better than the alternatives.
AI still has a long way to go smoothing and developing details without the obvious break downs and mushiness.... but, trying to reimagine Azeroth is probably the wrong place to start... too well known by millions of us who have played the game since 2004.... but, given time this might just replace the image engine of the game and reignite the gaming crowd.
Yeah I may have missed the mark by over a decade lmao. But these videos are fun to make and people generally like them. I tried other franchises like 40k, but they HATE ai with a burning passion, even when the videos were halfway decent.
This isn't horrible, but I feel this could be greatly improved by 1) Using actual Warcraft music, which goes a long way for the ambience, and; 2) Mix in some actual Warcraft art (either official or fanmade) along with the AI. I feel the AI art is better served for inner streets, the wildlands, etc, while more iconic places such as the Valley of Heroes should use recognizable art.
I wish i could but that would be copyright infringement and a good way to get the channel taken down. That's why you get these banger royalty free theme songs.
